-I launched it a year ago. I can't continue yet, but I will at the beginning of the year; I'm dusting it off for anyone who wants to try it and give their opinion. The mod currently only has its "week 1" as part of the main story; the other "weeks" are just extras based on events or mini-stories from Obmyoji, they are not part of the main plot.

-It is based on the lore of a popular Asian game, "Onmyoji," which tells the story of an Onmyoji, a Japanese spiritual wizard who, on his journey to defeat Orochi, forms yokai allies—beings from Japanese mythology—to restore balance and peace between humans and yokai.

I asked my AI friend to suggest me some open source games, and this is what I came up with :

Here are some open-source turn-based strategy games that emphasize mouse-centric controls (like point-and-click unit movement, army management, and tactical decisions, similar to Warlords 3). I've focused on those with gameplay vibes reminiscent of Warlords—hex/grid-based conquest, hero/army leading, and empire-building. All are free and licensed under GPL or similar.

LordsAWar!: A direct spiritual successor to Warlords II, where you command armies on a hex map, recruit heroes, and conquer territories via turn-based battles. Fully mouse-driven interface.

The Battle for Wesnoth: Fantasy-themed hex-based strategy with recruiting leaders, advancing units, and multi-campaign stories. Highly polished, entirely mouse-controllable for movement and combat.

Advanced Strategic Command: Inspired by Battle Isle, it features grid-based tactical warfare, resource management, and AI/multiplayer modes—all navigated via mouse clicks for unit orders and terrain interaction.

LGeneral: A clone of Panzer General with WWII-themed campaigns; move divisions across maps, plan attacks, and upgrade forces using simple mouse controls.

MegaMek: A BattleTech simulator for hex-based mech and vehicle combat; assemble forces, roll dice for attacks, and execute turns purely with mouse inputs.

Tanks of Freedom: Modern take on capturing bases with tank squads in short campaigns; quick, mouse-only unit deployment and pathfinding on grid maps.

FreeOrion: Galactic 4X empire-builder like Master of Orion, involving exploration and fleet commands via intuitive mouse-driven menus and ship movements.

I'm simply sharing with you all what l came across, and looking forward to hearing if you've played any of these, or something similar.

Introducing iiSU (www.youtube.com)

cross-posted from: https://lemmygrad.ml/post/9306468

The summary of the video states:

After such a long time, I finally get to share my biggest project with you all.

Big enormous shoutout to ‪@ThaddeusSilva‬ for composing the track for this reveal, as well as the other tracks used in this video!

Tracks featured:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tXiZQnPcfg

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3ZbhbcScIA

Assuming you're reading this after watching the reveal, this is iiSU: a front-end / launcher founded by yours truly, with the same love and care you normally see in my video content. It was bound to happen eventually, and today marks the beginning of home launchers reaching new heights.

Front-end development is being led by none other than the legendary Huesos - prioritizing the dual-screen branch.

Huesos's Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/cw/SapphireRhodonite

Back-end development has also initiated and we have more ideas brewing now that a full passionate and talented team is formed.

This is by far the most ambitious thing I've ever done, not to mention this is my first time even designing an app, let alone develop one from scratch. I hope you're as excited as I am, because there's still so much to share in the future!

For those who want to join the Discord, here's the invite link for you!

https://discord.com/invite/5JkBtVqd

You can reach me there a lot quicker if you have any questions or want to take part in the development process.

I've also created a paypal link for those who want to support iiSU and gain a few perks in the process, like early access when the app reaches its beta phase. https://ko-fi.com/usagishade

Alright, that covers everything for now! I'll be seeing you a lot more often as I've got a lot of free time to pour into this.

Til next time!

So it boasts a cleaner UI and shows all your achievements. I think this is a ROM for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Like a tablet or phone launcher, I guess. Probably you can put this on a handheld PC as well (like a Steam Deck, maybe).

The app is developed for Android devices as well.

Your thoughts?

Maybe I missed something in the short video (which is two minutes long) but I'm not sure what this is exactly.

Arriving on time! Dynamic settings, dynamic (but reasonable!) fires, dynamic combat and gameplay in general thanks to a ton of improvements in terms of mobs and gear. Smite some zombies in armour they picked up from the spot of your last death and some skeletons with their new texture – using an enchanted deepslate hammer, obtained with just a crafting table. Knock the stalker away with your enchanted spear, or let him explode and take out a pack of mobs. And enjoy stone tools with a green flavour, while you're still on the surface... There's more, see yourself!

We're announcing the VoxeLibre release 0.90 The Dynamic release.

For complete release notes check out: https://git.minetest.land/VoxeLibre/VoxeLibre/src/branch/master/releasenotes/0_90-the-dynamic-release.md
