Because that's how US hegemony has always worked. We're just hit straight in the face with it at this moment when we're also paying attention and we really see it. Canadians are healthier and more educated than your average American so each one of can fight back more effectively.
Singapore, Taiwan and South Korea are in a similar boat and blow their large regional neighbours out of the water in numerous metrics. We need to force Mark Carney to act better or replace him with a majority NDP leader. The 2 dominant parties can be overtaken.
If we held our government more accountable Canada would’ve had more independent from America’s bad choices.
