Makes zero sense to use that, especially from where he was lol. probably why the driver was confused.

Probably has some uses in markets that lack infrastructure but have a lively downtown, some southern cities come to mind but that's not where this is operating so no idea who would be using it

Like if you're on a budget, you're using mass transit anyways. If you're not, then just get a normal Uber/cab. No idea who this would be for

It's for trying to trick cities into getting rid of their bus systems so Uber can privatize and monopolize them, just like Uber in the first place is for trying to cheat taxi regulations so Uber can monopolize taxis.
