That's corpo PR speak. That doesn't say anything
okay go ahead and ignore the company’s official statement answering your question then
They say they're working on new hardware every time they make their software worse so people think xbox is still worth it. I wouldn't be surprised if the statement is just talking about a prebuilt windows PC that boots straight into game mode and they aren't actually working on a proper console.
