watching short-form videos and generative AI use have been shown to be bad for your brain. this doesn't mean you can just federally ban kids from the internet, that obviously doesn't work.
parents are ultimately in charge of raising kids, not the government.

how so? I think most people agree with this sentiment but I have yet to hear any specific and effective solutions within this category.
Meanwhile there seems to be a consensus that restricting social media access inherently requires age verifying everyone else. I disagree with this but have given up arguing the point beyond mentioning it.
