Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map. Their youtube channel has substantially diminished in quality but the map is still useful.
Moon of Alabama, which tends to have interesting analysis. Avoid the comment section.
Understanding War and the Saker: reactionary sources that have occasional insights on the war.
Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict. While he is a reactionary and surrounds himself with likeminded people, his daily update videos are relatively brainworm-free and good if you don't want to follow Russian telegram channels to get news. He also co-hosts The Duran, which is more explicitly conservative, racist, sexist, transphobic, anti-communist, etc when guests are invited on, but is just about tolerable when it's just the two of them if you want a little more analysis.

It seems to me Hezbollah is the key to what happens next. I think Israel is going to keep doing ethnic cleansing with each push of the Gazans south. But how much horror and how many kilometers will Hezbollah tolerate before they decide to go to war. The US media is a trip. They have no idea what Hezbollah will do even though they have no shortage of opinions.
Yeah. Not sure what they're waiting for at this point though. Strikes along the lebanese border already. Bombing the people evacuating to the south. Closing in on a week of this and still no real response. Maybe they're waiting to see what Israel does when the evacuation deadline passes, but it's hard to see where the red line is, if there even is one.
I really would like it if the American media reported on Lebanon by explaining what's been in the news there by translating article quotes from Arabic and "man on the street" interviews in Arabic. They could do so very cheaply. Just give a local reporter a little money to create a quickie segment.
Instead they send a reporter in a helmet and flak jacket to the border who has no idea at all what he sees actually means. He says "The Israelis evacuated Israeli's northern most village..." but he provides no context. You are a reporter - dipshit. Tell me how often this has happened post 2006. Once? Five times? Ten times? More times? Without appropriate context - I can't make heads or tails of the segment. And I assume anybody standing there with a mic don't know a word of Arabic so if loud speakers were to start blaring out a message - they'd have to look at their translator with a "little help?" expression.
Mainstream media pisses me off. People resort to Tiktok and Twitter and all the problems that exist of misinformation and disinformation because they crave to know what normal, ordinary people who live in a place have to say. Especially during wartime.
