it's been covered recently that the reason he keeps doing outside rallies this time around is because he still has outstanding bills for venues all over battleground states from the previous election; it might also be relevant that it's easier to lie about crowd sizes outdoors as opposed to indoor venues with stated capacities. in summary, he's even more of a clown than ever.

He still owes El Paso, Texas roughly half a million.^[1] It's no wonder venues are hesitant to have him back. Though Trump's been stiffing workers and employees his whole life so the bigger wonder is that they trusted him to begin with.

Is there a reason this hasn't caught up to him? Isn't this theft of service, or fraud of some point with a clear, and intentional pattern? Why the fuck does this dude of all people seem to have the cheat code to do whatever the fuck he pleases? When is it enough?

That's what happens when a madman seizes control of a major political party. The Republicans are scared of his insane followers.

I don't know the reason, but since he has been scamming his whole life ^[1] ^[2] ^[3] I will continue to believe he will get away with everything forever until the opposite is proven.

EDIT: To actually answer the question a bit, part of it might be fear of getting on the bad side of someone well-connected, but otherwise the sad fact is just that the balance of power is so unfathomably unfairly biased towards the rich. What are they gonna do, you know? A lot of these people can't afford to sue him.

The surprising part is the people who still fall for it. I can only guess he must use proxies or alternate names when agreeing to services and stuff. Who would see the name Trump and go forward thinking they'll see their money?
