Yes? “Consciously” and “knowingly” would be synonyms in the context.
Very subtle and nuanced difference. They are frequently used interchangeably.
Consciously would suggest awareness of the fault. Knowingly would fit better here because it implies broader understanding of selling faulty chips (eg to hit a target) even though they might cause problem .
