this is ridiculous for many reasons but especially terrifying because the supposed tora bora tunnels weren't sitting underneath a hospital with 60,000 displaced civilians. i am terrified at what israel might do looking at what they've done so far.
I guess we're only a few days away from this...
Biden's speech on whatever has just ended. To escape the media he's doing his old man shuffle at surprising speed. Reporters in the room are nearly screaming questions about the IDF's bombing of a hospital that happened a couple hours before. It's likely the IDF killed at least many thousands of people and they also caused far more causalities.
Biden gets to within about five feet of the door and he comes to a complete stop. His aides worst fears are coming true. He's going to do what they begged him not to. In his angry old man manner he's going to lecture the media on the "difficulties of war". He turns around and goes right back to the lectern to explain the situation. As his aides predicted - it starts horribly and gets worse from there.
"Look, reports are sketchy and it's possible - I say 'possible' there's a high number of casualties. That's unfortunate. But what did you expect the Israelis to do? What did you expect them to do? Hamas has tunnels under the hospitals..."
