I live in Taiwan and met a guy yesterday who is moving to Taiwan because Austin is a "liberal hell hole".

When pressed on any issues about Trump, his answer was that Biden is worse than Trump. When I asked about Harris, he just mentioned she will just copy Biden.

The funny thing is that Taiwan is by far more liberal and more progressive than Austin Texas. He seemed to like the universal healthcare and the many social services. He didn't mind the high corporate taxes companies have to pay.

My assessment is that he is only basing his vote on vibes and feels alone. Judging from the conversation, he is more of a Bernie supporter.

I remember there was a virus that had a tiny cat on the screen and it would chase your mouse cursor. Once it catches your mouse cursor, the computer would crash. It was freaking awesome.

Honestly, if another CEO steps in and Elon retires, the company might actually recover. Right now the image of Tesla is tied too closely to Elon who we know is an asshat.

Thank you for clicking my post.

I'm currently running a Synology Notestation with around 8 clients and while it mostly works, sometimes images don't load correctly(or doesn't at all) and has failed on me one too many times.

I'm looking for another notes app similar to DS notes.

1- Rich Text Editor 2- Self hosted 3- Has multiple users enabled 4- Native Android app

Nice to have: 1- offline mode 2- FOSS 3- Has an active community

I host files for my entire family and they rely on notes for all their important documents. So it has to be simple to use.

I have tried benotes, but not having a Native Android app makes it hard for normies to use it. I also tried Joplin, but it's single user only.

Amateur/hobbiest photographer here.

What boils me is when people who sees my picture and say "Wow! Nice photo, you must have an expensive camera".

It's never your years of shooting or your passion to the craft. It's always down to " What camera is that from".

I also shoot 35mm film as well. Even then, people only care about the camera.

My 10 year old niece asked me what my RJ45 wall socket was while I was fixing her mom's computer.

"It's for old telephones"

She then asked me if I had an adapter for it so she could charge her phone.
