9pm, BBC TwoThe will-they-won’t-they drama about two people who fell in love and parted 20 years ago takes a heartbreakingly dark turn, as we learn the real reason Alison (Teresa Palmer) left Sheffield without telling Daniel (Jim Sturgess). The pair finally meet up in Sydney, but it was always going to be an awkward reunion – especially as they both now have spouses. Was their love only ever meant to stay in the past? Beautiful, tragic and set to a top-notch soundtrack. Hollie Richardson
