Israel trying to pass the hospital bombing off as Palestine doing it is utterly disgusting and guarantees Netanyahu a spot in the deepest pit of Hell for all eternity, obviously, but do not forget that

a) the only reason why Westerners will believe it is because they want to believe it - they are not being brainwashed and this is not some masterful propaganda being weaved around us to turn kind-hearted people into monsters,

b) no Westerner opinions matter at all. In most Western countries there is no real anti-Israel option to vote for even if they did realize that Israel was a giant factory for crimes against humanity, and Westerners protesting against things in general almost never achieves anything (tens of millions protested for BLM in 2020 and not only did the situation not change, it got worse), and

c) the people whose opinions do matter (both the people in the region, and the leaders who aren't already Zionist compradors) already know that Israel is full of shit and that they just murdered nearly a thousand civilians in a single bomb attack.

It is despair-inducing to think that the genocidal Zionist entity is so brazenly, so smugly getting away with bullshitting this away into a cloud of confusion, as they release their metaphorical squid ink just like they did with the stupid babies story, but the propaganda and the media narrative that they are creating isn't what matters. It cannot address the fundamental contradictions ripping the country, the region, and the world apart any more than masterfully-applied makeup can fix a stab wound. It can merely obfuscate.

If you have evidence of Israeli crimes and atrocities that you wish to preserve, there is a thread here in which to do so.

Sources on the fighting in Palestine against Israel. In general, CW for footage of battles, explosions, dead people, and so on:

UNRWA daily-ish reports on Israel's destruction and siege of Gaza and the West Bank.

English-language Palestinian Marxist-Leninist twitter account. Alt here.
English-language twitter account that collates news (and has automated posting when the person running it goes to sleep).
Arab-language twitter account with videos and images of fighting.
English-language (with some Arab retweets) Twitter account based in Lebanon.
English-language Palestinian Twitter account which reports on news from the Resistance Axis.

English-language PalestineResist telegram channel.

Various sources that are covering the Ukraine conflict are also covering the one in Palestine, like Rybar.

The Country of the Week is still Palestine! Feel free to chime in with books, essays, longform articles, even stories and anecdotes or rants.

Here is the map of the Ukraine conflict, courtesy of Wikipedia.

The weekly update isn't coming because I'm sick and too focussed on the collapse of the Zionist entity.

Resources For Understanding The War

Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map. Their youtube channel has substantially diminished in quality but the map is still useful.

Moon of Alabama, which tends to have interesting analysis. Avoid the comment section.

Understanding War and the Saker: reactionary sources that have occasional insights on the war.

Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict. While he is a reactionary and surrounds himself with likeminded people, his daily update videos are relatively brainworm-free and good if you don't want to follow Russian telegram channels to get news. He also co-hosts The Duran, which is more explicitly conservative, racist, sexist, transphobic, anti-communist, etc when guests are invited on, but is just about tolerable when it's just the two of them if you want a little more analysis.

On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent and very good journalist reporting in the warzone on the separatists' side.

Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.

Telegram Channels

Again, CW for anti-LGBT and racist, sexist, etc speech, as well as combat footage.

Pro-Russian

https://t.me/aleksandr_skif ~ DPR's former Defense Minister and Colonel in the DPR's forces. Russian language.

https://t.me/Slavyangrad ~ A few different pro-Russian people gather frequent content for this channel (~100 posts per day), some socialist, but all socially reactionary. If you can only tolerate using one Russian telegram channel, I would recommend this one.

https://t.me/s/levigodman ~ Does daily update posts.

https://t.me/patricklancasternewstoday ~ Patrick Lancaster's telegram channel.

https://t.me/gonzowarr ~ A big Russian commentator.

https://t.me/rybar ~ One of, if not the, biggest Russian telegram channels focussing on the war out there. Actually quite balanced, maybe even pessimistic about Russia. Produces interesting and useful maps.

https://t.me/epoddubny ~ Russian language.

https://t.me/boris_rozhin ~ Russian language.

https://t.me/mod_russia_en ~ Russian Ministry of Defense. Does daily, if rather bland updates on the number of Ukrainians killed, etc. The figures appear to be approximately accurate; if you want, reduce all numbers by 25% as a 'propaganda tax', if you don't believe them. Does not cover everything, for obvious reasons, and virtually never details Russian losses.

https://t.me/UkraineHumanRightsAbuses ~ Pro-Russian, documents abuses that Ukraine commits.

Pro-Ukraine

Almost every Western media outlet.

https://discord.gg/projectowl ~ Pro-Ukrainian OSINT Discord.

https://t.me/ice_inii ~ Alleged Ukrainian account with a rather cynical take on the entire thing.

To see the difference between SMO and war, one need only look to Gaza. It's really bad what's happening there, especially to the civilians.

But what upsets me most is the double standards of Western heads of state. They think it's terrible that Russia is bombing Ukraine, but at the same time they support Israel, which is specifically bombing civilians. Russia has never before sent targeted bombs to civilians. Unfortunately, accidents can happen during a military conflict and can hardly be prevented. But deliberately bombing civilians on this scale is a world of its own.

And Russia would have the capacity and means to do the same with Ukraine. Russia has far more resources than Israel to do this.

This is the crucial difference between war and SMO.

US State Department advises all Americans overseas "to exercise increased caution" in rare worldwide alert

The US State Department issued a rare, worldwide caution alert Thursday to advise all US citizens abroad "to exercise increased caution," citing "increased tensions in various locations around the world, the potential for terrorist attacks, demonstrations or violent actions against US citizens and interests."

The alert comes as protests have erupted throughout the Middle East in response to the Israel-Hamas war, with many demonstrators targeting US diplomatic compounds.

The State Department has raised the travel advisory for Lebanon and Israel to the highest level and has authorized non-emergency US government personnel and family members to depart.

The State Department last issued this kind of alert in August 2022 in the wake of the killing of al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, warning that “supporters of al-Qa’ida, or its affiliated terrorist organizations, may seek to attack US facilities, personnel, or citizens.”

Going to be quite honest, I don’t know the first thing about Hamas and don’t know where to look.

I will tell you though that I don’t buy into the narrative that western narrative regurgitated my entire life (I.e. the enemy has no agency and exists to cause destruction and terror for the sake of destruction and terror)

Me thinking and learning: 9/11 is 3000 lives*average life expectancy of average humans so roughly 35 years. It follows then that 1 year is roughly 10 micro 9/11. As we all are educated people, 10 micro 9/11 is also equal 1e13 km. So 1 km is equal to atto 9/11

My countrys turbolib newspaper has ran a story today about the Uyghurs. So I went looking for the source.

Apparently we are doing this again. Nevermind the berry pickers of Europe being held in inhumane conditions and exploited.

Some interesting analysis in the Jerusalem Post which aligns what I think a lot of us have long suspected here:

A number of factors seem to have caused a delay [to the IDF invasion of Gaza], but sources have told The Jerusalem Post that one factor has been a growing concern that Hezbollah is waiting for the moment that most IDF ground forces are committed to Gaza to open a full front with the IDF in the north.

In this narrative, the fact that Hezbollah did not engage at the start of the war Saturday morning and has kept its attacks on Israel at a fairly low threshold does not prove that it is deterred but is part of an elaborate fake-out to lure the IDF into a false sense of security, similar to what Hamas pulled off in the south.

Coupled with what Iran's foreign minister is saying, I think it's close to kicking off. Once the IDF begins the ground invasion, things will get spicy. Let's hope everybody keeps their fingers off the nuke triggers.

"I stated that the time for political solutions is coming to an end and the possible expansion of the war to other fronts is approaching the inevitable stage," Amir-Abdollahian noted.

The anti-liberation Palestinian Authority Security Forces are confiscating weapons and personal firearms from their members, as well as reducing the ammunition held by patrolling members from several magazines to only five bullets, out of fear that their members might join the resistance and carry out operations.

From Al Jazeera's daily live blog -

Malaysia latest to withdraw from Frankfurt Book Fair over ‘pro-Israel stance’

Malaysia’s education ministry has pulled out of the annual Frankfurt Book Fair, accusing the event’s organisers of adopting a pro-Israel stance.

“The ministry will not compromise with Israel’s violence in Palestine, which clearly violates international laws and human rights,” the ministry said in a statement.

“The decision by the Ministry of Education is in line with the government’s position to always stand in solidarity and give full support to Palestine.”

Several publishing organisations from the Middle East and elsewhere have also withdrawn from the literary festival, including the Arab Publishers Association, the Emirates Publishers Association, Sharjah Book Authority and PublisHer, the industry magazine Publishing Perspectives reported.

The withdrawals follow the postponement of the festival’s awards ceremony to honour Palestine-born author Adania Shibli due to Hamas’s on Israel, according to Publishing Perspectives.

French President Macron to visit Israel in the coming few days.

Delaying more?

If you just have a constant stream of world leader visits and no ground operation until after their visits then you can delay for as long as you can keep throwing world leader visits at them.

I don't think it was just for economic reasons that capitalists and feds astroturfed the antimask/antivax/return-to-normal movement so hard. I think they correctly recognized covid as a potential insurrectionary flashpoint.
