I'm not sure turning off the camera, microphone, and Bluetooth are quite the total privacy that the article frames them as... To the best of my knowledge research has consistently found that microphones dont actually listen and shape your ads. Much more insidiously, advertisers can just predict things sometimes based on the massive amounts of data being analyzed for the express purpose of targeting ads
Am I wrong to think this seems a bit like security theater without much real impact? Especially with the author holding it up favorably with something like grapheme?
