Not "antifa", anti-fascists. They're just admitting it now.

[-] Zaktor@sopuli.xyz 9 points 2 weeks ago

I also like how the Islamic terrorists are "legacy" as if there's nothing going on right now that could be generating a whole new generation of Anti-American terrorists. It's only some old guys who still hate us for our 2000's freedom.

What is this from? This sounds like it is written by AI and not even proofread.

I swear this whole administration is vibe-coded.

"including Anarchists and Anti-Fascists"...so straight up admitting that they are the target of anti-fascist groups. Aaaaaand what does that make them? Could it be....fascist? </churchlady>

Whew, good thing I'm just an old fashioned Trotskyite, I wouldn't want to be in with terrorists.

[-] BlameTheAntifa@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

Does anyone know if these left-wing extremists, anarchists, and anti-fascists are accepting applicants? How are the health plans?

Woah woah woah, the Subaru Legacy is halal?!

[-] Zaktor@sopuli.xyz 3 points 2 weeks ago

It's consecrated for both Islamists and lesbians.

Unfortunately, only the Crosstrek, and then only the AWD version

Good News everyone, I'm now among the major terror groups.

So are 6 billion other people on the planet.

[-] backalleycoyote@lemmy.today 3 points 2 weeks ago

While this is just the next phase of fascism we all expected, and as incompetent as the FBI has become, no one should doubt that this is a dangerous escalation. I haven’t been able to fly for almost 20yrs because of “alleged” ties to ALF/ELF during the terror panic that birthed Homeland Security post-9/11. That was when the modern surveillance state was just getting rolling.

“There is no greater misfortune than underestimating your opponent.” -Lao Tzu

[-] Blibly@lemmy.world 9 points 2 weeks ago

The fascist terrorists are classifying everyone else as terrorists like the little pissbaby fuckfaces they are.

[-] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 8 points 2 weeks ago

Yeah, nevermind the actual terrorists that do things like....checks notes....storm the Capitol, beat up police and were seeking to hang members of Congress and the Vice President in an effort to overturn a free and fair election.

I will vote for any progressive that will apply that moniker to every single Republican propaganda machine and act accordingly.

[-] Crystalbound@lemmy.world 5 points 2 weeks ago

Same. These precedents are gonna be a bitch and a half for them when the script flips, and im here and voting for it

[-] Gerudo@lemmy.zip 4 points 2 weeks ago

Wow, I'm a terrorist! Didn't have that on my life's bingo card.

[-] HulkSmashBurgers@reddthat.com 4 points 2 weeks ago

Fucking ridiculous.

What's next, democrats are terrorists?

[-] Sunflier@lemmy.world 4 points 2 weeks ago

They're working up to it. Maybe they'll organize a ~~Reichstag~~ Republican Headquarters Fire first.

As the leader of Antifa, this upsets me.

[-] TropicalDingdong@lemmy.world 4 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

(the glorious dead; no leaders, no followers)

[-] SpaceNoodle@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

This is the leader of Antifa?

[-] teslekova@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 weeks ago

Well, not always. You see, we take it in turns every week to be the leader, because we're sort of an anarcho-syndicalist commune....

[-] backalleycoyote@lemmy.today 3 points 2 weeks ago

But all the decisions of that officer have to be ratified at a special biweekly meeting--

[-] teslekova@sh.itjust.works 2 points 2 weeks ago

Oh yes, of course, a biweekly meeting of all antifa members, which - Ooo, look at all this nice mud over here!

If you haven't already, I would start talking to your neighbors and organizing.

We already know the camps exist, and if you've seen some of the images that have been leaked you'll know the conditions are inhumane and cruel. These new labels can be applied to anyone, for any reason. And make no mistake, you don't even have to be in left-wing spaces to be accused and disappeared. So it's not just you in danger, it's everybody around you. It's your co-workers, your family, your friends. All it takes is a wrong place, wrong time.

Organize now, before you don't have that option anymore.

Amazing how quickly the meanimg of terrorism changed over the years. When it became ok to hate terrorists, suddenly anyone you hate can be relabeled as one.

[-] FrChazzz@lemmus.org 3 points 2 weeks ago

I was still an active member of a Baptist Church in the early 2000s and I remember arguing with the leader of my Sunday School group about the dangers of the Patriot Act and how it opens the door to stuff like this. He just waved it away as me being anti-authoritarian and paranoid. Well look who was proved to be right in the end, MATT?!?

[-] QuincyPeck@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

Fucking Matt.

[-] Snowies@lemmy.zip 3 points 2 weeks ago

You’re under arrest for resisting arrest.

[-] dan1101@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

I don't think they know what a terror group is.

[-] Zombiepirate@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

On the contrary; they just approve of Patriot Front and the Proud Boys.

And those are actual terror groups.

[-] Wilco@lemmy.zip 3 points 2 weeks ago

I am Antifa. Antifa means Anti Fascist ... so yea, if MAGAs "hated enemy" is an antifascist movement then they have basically just classified themselves.

[-] Doomsider@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

It is not just MAGA literally the whole world is fascist. This is why Antifacists are so hated amongst leaders of the world.

Did you forgot about the World Trade protests? Antifacists are at odds with the entire business world AKA big money. The leaders of the world cannot let this movement catch on.

[-] Brkdncr@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

So being anti-fascist is being a terrorist? I sure am glad most of the WW2 vets aren’t here to witness that everything they fought for would make them a terrorist.

[-] bagsy@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

just boring old fascism, nothing to see here, move along.

Dammit! Who let Grampa Dementia alone with the TV remote again?

Every damn time he watches Fox, he starts freaking out.

Next he's gonna be seeing brown-skinned immigrants under his bed, tryna steal his compression socks.

Fuckin' hell, people.. can we please remember to lock up the remote before he finds it..
