Speech has been turned into a commodity, and thus easily controlled.
That is not a Pride parade. That is a clown parade.
However, I will say it's fun if you live in a major queer friendly city to on-lookers cheering for a pride parade and then go quiet as a library when a cop or defense contractor or bank float pulls up.
