green is red would mean something like environmentalism is praxis.

Makes sense. Those would be messages for different audiences then.

“Red is green” = if you care about the environment, communism is the way

“Green is red” = if you’re a communist, environmentalism is praxis.

“Red is green” seems like the more important message though, since it’s aimed at pulling environmentally minded people to the left.
