You're not, it's just that sometimes you paste your passwords outside browser, and opening a browser for that is doable, but feels wrong :D

Also, the app has a more convenient layout as it can afford more screen space.

Genuine question. What convinces you that Bible is true? And among Abrahamic religions, why is this particular book true? Why do you accept "update" to Torah (that is, the Christian Bible), but not "update" to the Christian Bible (Quran)? Or do I miss the point?

There's no indication they use cameras in there. It's most likely just a sensor for vape smoke, similar to your common fire alarm.

And if it makes bathrooms a place where everyone can breathe without inhaling nicotine, I'm all for it. This is not a serious privacy concern.

Numbers don't even seem to add up, or something strongly changed between 2007 and 2010.

Also, you're either a troll or a very incompetent researcher. You should absolutely never ever rely on LLMs to serve you any factual data. LLMs are highly prone to hallucinations.

Here's an actual paper on the issue: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0167268123001713

Generally, the migrant crime rate increased in 2008-2014, but then decreased throughout 2015-2019. In total, the change averages to about zero.

As per reasoning, two primary forces are demonstrated: on one hand, poorer material conditions, and on the other, the fear of being deported. In 2015-2019, during refugee crisis, being sent back could mean essential death sentence, which shifted the balance. All of this is to say that we should improve material conditions for migrants if we want the crime rates among them to drop further. Instead, it is currently done under threats of deportation.

The only thing left unanswered for me is sexual violence. But in Germany, the difference between natives and locals is not as big as to justify mass measures against an entirety of migrant population.

I'mma be honest, I didn't dig statistics for Germany, but I live in Russia where the same migrant hysteria is rampant rn, and saw some numbers from there.

On average, immigrants in Russia commit less crimes per person than native population. The areas in which there are objectively more crimes are migration laws (obviously) and sexual offences. Numbers in other categories are higher by native Russians. And mind you, our migrants come from underdeveloped primarily Muslim countries, too.

With that said, do you have data on the share of crimes committed by native German population and immigrants? Pure numbers mean little without context.

It should be treated like "you're not bad for having that, but you'll absolutely be bad if you act on it".

We should always highlight that attraction itself is natural and just happens, but what differentiates between it and other attractions is that you really really shouldn't pursue anything based on it.

Both kinds of conversion are literally impossible.

The very point I'm making is that stigma, in fact, does not help prevent acts of abuse; quite to the contrary.

You cannot identify every pedophile and kill them, nor will that help because this trait randomly emerges in the population again and again.

But you can force them into isolation, which will force them to select unhealthy coping mechanisms, including actual offenses against minors, instead of going for help to prevent their behaviors.

Professional, judgement-free help is the only thing that is actually known to help. And we won't get them there without accepting those who chose to never hurt anyone.

Let's just say every device advertising it could work on X meters (square, cubic, whatever) is a lie.

What are the conditions? How pronounced you expect your result to be?

This is especially funny with heaters, for example, when heaters of the same power advertise vastly different area of effect and people go "Oh! This 1500W heater can heat up 50 square meters, so much better than this 2000W heater advertised for 30 square meters!"

Wow, thank you for such a detailed response!

I'll check out the sources you've given.

While I wholeheartedly agree with the notion of "switch to Linux if you can", sometimes people can't do this due to obscure work software, specific hardware they can't afford to change, or something else.

I know that being on Linux all those Windows enshittification news appear very distant, but some people literally can't escape Windows for now - it's not only those who are reluctant - and those news are bad news.

For those who consider Linux, though - by all means go for it. You can install Linux alongside Windows (preferably on another physical drive, but same drive will do), and just tinker with it and see how it feels. Don't just toy with it, actually try to use it. As with any system, it might seem a bit weird for your first few hours, but when (if) you'll be ready to make a switch, you really won't look back.

Linux is not just an "ideological" choice. It is faster (you may not notice this on Windows, but even on greatest of computers Windows is lagging a bit, and you'll feel the difference); it doesn't bombard you with anything, it doesn't shill you anything, it doesn't do what you didn't ask, it just gets the job done exactly the way you want it to.

And it's insanely satisfying. Silence and control. For once, you actually are a master of your system.

Choose some distribution that supports KDE Plasma desktop - be it Fedora KDE, Manjaro KDE, KDE Neon or anything else - they will all do. KDE will make your experience way more Windows-like, and it will be easier to switch. In fact, KDE is what Windows desktop wish it could be.

Or, if you feel nostalgic for Windows 7 era, choose Cinnamon-based distros, especially Linux Mint.

And just run it. The time is now.

Unless we improve the efficiency of both electrolysis and fuel cell conversion to about 98%, we won't beat the batteries.
