We have cities in germany where "5.5%" really doesn't paint the right picture. I've recently been to one where most shops had signs i can't read and more muslims than i saw in Turkey or elsewhere. Seeing or hearing (a) german was a rare exception. And this is really no exaggeration.

Of course if you take all the rural areas into the equation, where usually very few are, you might see the 5% in toto, but in the cities and especially the cores? No way.

I'm probably older than your daddy, but... People's thoughts etc do matter. Sure. Never said they don't. And if someone is truly hurt by reading the word "shit", i can only really hope for them that they'll never run into real problems in this world.

Doesn't change my point. Even worse. How could anyone be hurt in their feelz by that harmless word? If that already hurts them, this world will be no fun place for them to exist

Hey, I'm "old generation" and i don't care. We're not all facebook-loving whatsappers. It's people who don't know what real problems are that care about some silly words noone else cares about.

I'm 50 and don't understand. I voluntarily work with abused people. They got real problems, they don't care about trivialities in life like sh.itjust.works. If you reach 40 you'll maybe understand. Or maybe it's no matter of age but wisdom or horizon.

Oh, barbarism is global, i know. We all are able to do horrible things when allowed/forced to. I'm misanthropic.

Check out xmpp. Wouldn't know of anything remotely as useful as tgram. If it's just about messaging yourself, you could also continue using tgram and doing your own encryption with your own bot for sensible data.

If someone's feelings are hurt by a silly url, it's me that should grow up? We're not talking about trigger-urls like r*pe-is-fun.org or similar.

I have not met a single person since the beginning of the internet that would have his/her feelz hurt by sh.itjust.works.
