The Phoenix Wright trilogy--the first three original GBA games/DS re-releases. They set up and develop so many arcs that pay off both within each game and across the entire trilogy. I would even go so far as to say that Phoenix Wright 3 is one of the best visual novel games of all time.

Nah, there's definitely an element of fatigue. I used to watch superhero movies pretty religiously, even renting movies I missed before watching the new avengers flick. I even went to see Infinity War day one, and it was such a shock that I remember sitting in the car in silence on the way home (though I did cue up Snow in Summer from the NieR soundtrack... IYKYK). After Endgame, though... It was like a switch flipped. I had just watched this big, amazing payoff film that celebrated nearly a decade of cinema, had highs and lows, I watched actors and characters I had followed for years giving their goodbyes... It was a big, emotional moment, and the feeling I had afterwards was like the end of Thanksgiving dinner where you've finished your slice of pie and are enjoying the warm and fuzzy feelings. In other words, I was full.

So when Marvel kept producing more movies at the same pace as before, it was like the end of Thanksgiving dinner, except now the host is starting to bring out another pie and putting a slice in front of me, and now I'm side-eyeing it and trying to find a polite excuse to say no and go the fuck home.

What you're missing is that it's a step in the direction of establishing fetuses as being treated like humans for things like child support, tax benefits, HOV lane benefits, and so on, with the end goal being able to stand in front of our extremist supreme court and say "Gee, isn't it funny how we treat fetuses as humans for this, this, and this, but not as humans when it comes to the fourteenth amendment guaranteeing equal protection under the law? You agree? Great! Now that we've established that fetuses have rights under the fourteenth amendment, let's talk about all these pesky blue states that aren't banning abortion..."

I also pirated it, and yeah, I definitely got my money's worth from it. I tried to have fun, but it's the poster child for "mile wide, inch deep."

Honestly I was the same way going into it, and after watching it my thoughts were "I don't regret watching it, but I wouldn't have regretted missing out either."

The movie is great, and there were multiple moments where I burst out laughing. It's also a really bizarre acid trip, and I mean that in a good way! But at the end of the day, it's a hot pink version of The Lego Movie, down to Will Farrell playing a (less evil and more well-meaning) Lord Business. It's a movie made by women, for women, about a series of toys designed for women. That's not a bad thing by any means, and it's not like men cannot enjoy it, but it also means it may not interest you, and that's fine too.

It's free*, insanely easy to set up, you don't have to worry about port forwarding or ddos or hosting fees, has powerful moderation tools, and there's a plethora of easy to deploy bots that help manage permissions and automate routine tasks. Literally, if it had a proper web-accessible forum similar to phpBB, it would be perfect.

It drives active users and increases activity on the site. Reddit tracks site usage metrics, and active user count + engagement are two of the most important metrics, since more active users = more eyeballs on ads, and more engagement = more ads that can be placed in front of those eyeballs.

The fact that the majority of the new active users are bot accounts that can't be advertised to is secondary, since the people who would invest in a reddit IPO wouldn't typically look that deep, they'd just look at the top line metrics and go "oh, there's a big bump on activity, this is a healthy website."
