A professor of mine posited that most every sentence ever spoken or written had never before been communicated. There was some compelling math behind it, and some compelling reason it was mentioned, but I still find it dubious.
When I was in a remedial history class to make time for advanced Spanish, several kids were entirely unable to read. All of them very poor and black. I remember it frequently, any time I try to get my head around the state of the US and the reason education is so frequently under attack. Systemic racism has far reaching ramifications.

Netflix responded by producing their own content rather than leasing others’ at exorbitant rates. Then Netflix later got greedy and bumped their prices, lowered their quality, and cancelled all of their good shows.
This is what I hate about the homunculi of twitter company personalities. “Hahaa, did you see the way Walmart clapped back at IBM?“ Humanizing vast, faceless companies puppeted by sociopathic business majors triggers every rage response that my body can muster. Please, shut the fuck up
They did protest. And everyone was arrested. Then they protested the arrests. And everyone was arrested. Then people just silently stood in groups holding blank signs. And everyone was arrested.
I’ve been held up for my backpack twice. I just carry everything in a grocery bag now. No one cares to steal my “groceries.” I might need to swap back to a backpack once food prices explode
