I've given up on having expectations of other people.
I've decided to just be nice to everyone no matter the circumstance or reaction. If you don't want to be nice or polite ... screw you.
If you want to be unkind, negative or rude ... I'm going away from you as fast as possible ... and if I can't avoid you, I'm giving you an earful of how I feel about your stinking guts
If they didn't have the numbers or add them to a list .. they should have at least given them an honourable mention
Or if its in your basement on a concrete floor .... the sounds of a drunken brawl happening downstairs.
Going to a bar to meet someone was the first problem. It's far better to try to meet people in public places that don't involve alcohol, drugs and loud music.
Sexuality or sexual identity isn't the problem ... being afraid is.
I'm lost in a fog ... but I know there's a steep cliff ledge nearby where I'll fall for a very, very long time.
They're on their way to the spiral of death
Paradox of Tolerance
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paradox_of_tolerance
The paradox of tolerance is a philosophical concept suggesting that if a society extends tolerance to those who are intolerant, it risks enabling the eventual dominance of intolerance, thereby undermining the very principle of tolerance.
If we all just idly sit by and let assholes be assholes, all we're ever going to end up with is to be surrounded by assholes. Not only should we stand up and say something or show our displeasure or disagreement with these idiots .... common people should stop voting these morons into positions of power.
These idiots don't get into power because they have any kind of charisma or power over people ... they get into power because most people idly stand by and just watch them as they take control of power knowing that no one or not enough people will stop them.
Usually, its from the freeze/melt cycle forming giant blocks of ice somewhere on the road ... then the plow pushing a giant chunk right onto your driveway. Best time for this is usually at the end of winter when it's constantly thawing then refreezing at night.
Somewhere randomly within those deposits is a large boulder of solid ice that is too hard to break, too heavy to move, yet somehow occupies the middle of the snowpile.
