the moon is made out of cheese.

goverment cheese was never made to feed the poor or to bail out dairy farmers,
it was used to built the set where they faked the moonlanding.

and now they feed it to the poor to get rid of the evidence.

next to ublock i also use Decentraleyes
(further protection aganst tracking,
probably a bit less mobile usage,
and otherwise 0 impact)

video background play fix
(prevents youtube from stopping if my smartphone is locked)

ublacklist
(prevents sites you hate from appearing in your google search results (mostly fandom.com for me))

welcome to the club ๐Ÿ˜‚

did it overwrite your GRUB partition or did it just remove the uefi entry?

iirc the later is pretty easy to fix with efibootmgr if you have a live cd / usb

i still remember recieving the pc version of the og battlefront2 as a birthday gift.

i could not get it to run for weeks,
and i had to deactivate all sound to get it to work.

it was downright uncanny to hear the sound, when i bought the steam version years later.

also the loading screen with the map zooming in in battlefront1 was the coolest shit i had ever seen

i settled on fedora kde a few years ago(altho i recently switched to fedora silverblue kde)
imo a nice middleground.

if you are intrested in immutable distros, i can recommend silverblue (not as drastic of a change compared to nixos)

if you are intrested in nixos package management, you might want to try out the nix package manager on your current distro.

an intresting way to get the fresh but stable system you want is to,
install some rock solid distro like debian,
and then use the nix package manager and/or flatpacks to get the fresh software you want.

๐Ÿ˜‚ utf-8 is great isn't it.

Its meant to be a text format capable of displaying all writing systems.
from mandarin to sumerian cuneiform,
or obscure stuff like alchemy notations.

its also what allows you to post emojis on every modern website.
