Where is the instance that autobans any account that users have downvoted X times? I want to join it.

If we're getting upset by canonical inconsistencies I have to wonder what bothers you about the Discovery Klingons specifically when I see no mention of the significantly more comprehensive "reimagining" of the TMP (or later the TNG) Klingons? Just seems like an odd place to draw the line.

Yeah it's certainly not the worst series of episodes and as you implied it does some good world building. It just doesn't do it for me the same way that "why is everyone treating O'Brien like he's shady?" does.

Yeah it's funny how something on a "vibes" level just made me feel like me something was off and made me look into it closer. I worry that one day I won't have that weird feeling anymore.

I think it would have been cool to have 1 or 2 Kazon episodes, and then maybe a surprise one or two seasons later when Voyager discovers they had been followed or something. But it was just not a good idea to try and make them the main antagonists as long as they did.
