As expected (there would have been other options but Ollie made the most sense)

This seems super risky btw. Colapinto's first few races after Monza will be Baku and Singapore. Not exactly tracks where you want a rookie to start his F1 career. Lawson was super impressive there, but is that reproducible?

And Colapinto's junior career isn't really more impressive than Logan's..

(Also, different issue: argentinian fans coming newly into F1 could be ugly given what we have seen in recent years.)

Sources have indicated that both men handed in their resignations last month before the team travelled to Bahrain. While resignations of such senior figures often trigger an immediate move to gardening leave, it is understood that both men are continuing in their roles for the foreseeable future, with Harman present trackside in Bahrain.

This is very unusual. Both have handed in resignations even before testing, but are still working for the team?

  1. Their car somehow is 10 kg heavier than last year
  2. Their engine still is the worst one as there is a ban on developing it

The addition of an 11th team would place an operational burden on race promoters

That's the first good argument against them joining that I have ever heard. But I'm sure that's solveable.

Also quite ironic when Liberty has been increasing the pressure on race promoters, and even insisted on promoting the Miami & Las Vegas races themselves instead on relying on race promoters.

Haley and DeSantis are extremely reactionary and right wing. That should be clear.

However, they arent as much psychopathic narcissists hellbent on destroying democracy like Trump.

Lol, so the guy who posted that he has the trophy at home straight up stole it

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Edit: Update from Nihad , who now claims that it was a misunderstanding with Lewis mistaking him for an FIA official and therefore giving him the trophy

That would be so stupid that it fits Marko. You cant put a rookie next to Max, that is doomed to fail and cost the team even more.

Verstappen’s sister Victoria, who is almost three years younger than him, had the chance to follow her brother, father and kart-racing mother into motor racing. “I think she had a lot of potential,” says Verstappen. F1 has finally woken up to the need to bring more women to reach the top flight of motor racing and formed the F1 Academy to encourage that. But Verstappen said his sister didn’t have the same appetite for racing when they were younger.

“There were a few instances where my dad would spend two days preparing everything like he would do with me, making sure everything was perfect for her to drive. Then she would drive for like 20 laps, and then she’s like ‘that’s it for me for today’. And then my dad would get quite annoyed.”

However Verstappen is convinced that, had his sister wanted to, she could have made a career out of motor racing as well. “I think my sister probably had the same amount of talent as I had when I was little, but she just didn’t want it enough. She liked it but not enough to, like, fight for it, be fit, be ready. That’s fine, as long as you realise that. “My dad was, anyway, mainly focussed on me. But then if you really want it, if you really want to fight for it, even when let’s say your dad is not really focussed on you, if you make him realise, make him see that ‘I want to do this as well’ – I was 100% sure that my dad would have gone all the way for her as well. But my dad didn’t feel it, she didn’t want it enough.”

From the Post race Show livestream.

Lando is being interviewed when Alex and then Charles arrive. They proceed to talk together about the race, and Alex makes fun of the McLarens. Found it interesting to watch.

Alphatauri CEO Peter Bayer was in an interview with ServusTV after fp3 and said that Daniel Ricciardo is currently on his way to a specialist for treatment of his broken bone. "We've seen with Lance Stroll, and in MotoGP, that these doctors are doing wonders". Nethertheless he thinks it's unlikely that Ricciardo would be able to compete in the Monza racing weekend.
