Maybe he'll go to the Daily Wire
Oh no... Israel is doing the Gish gallop but for human rights atrocities... this explains it perfectly.
I find that they have a lot of mistaken assumptions that are just lies repeated by Fox News. Sometimes they don't even watch Fox, they're just surrounded by people that do.
I like to focus on the economic issues, since there is hard math for the economy and I find it's not productive to argue with someone who is terrified that a trans person might be in the same bathroom as their child. I find these people literally start foaming at the mouth over that stuff and I just don't have the right math or words to cut through the rabies.
For example. I've heard Republican voters say that Republicans are better for the economy and reducing the national debt. Ask them which Republican presidents have left office with a reduced deficit?
Ask them if they know how much it added to the national debt when Reagan, Bush, and Trump passed tax cuts primarily for the rich and corporations.
Let them know that you're also concerned about the economy and the deficits, and show them a chart of federal spending and ask them whether they want to cut Social Security, Medicare, or defense spending to pay for more tax cuts for the rich and corporations.
Then ask them why DON'T the Republicans cut ANY of those things to pay for their tax cuts? Why do those deficits just get passed on to the next Democrat and blamed on them? How are Republicans going to reduce the deficit when it's not politically feasible with their base to cut ANY of those three things?
When it comes to immigration, ask them why they think immigrants are trying to get here in the first place. Show them Smedley Butler and talk about the war on drugs and ask them if they think the US is partially to blame for the violence in other countries that people are trying to escape from.
Also, show them the Maddox comic where he depicts immigrants "stealing our jobs". Ask them who is hiring these illegal immigrants and why? Ask them who the managers and owners of those companies vote for and why those people might have an incentive to preserve the "illegal" status of those employees.
Democrats: "let's pass some reasonable reforms to temper the ill effects of deregulated capitalism"
Republicans: "that's socialism and you're a Marxist!"
Youth: "we want reform so I guess we like socialism!"
Republicans: "the radical left is indoctrinating our kids!"
We're talking about people that believe Joe Biden has "open border" policies and that Democrats are performing abortions after birth.
I'd assume they believe every word.
You're probably right about that, but he's so blatantly crossing the line in ways that would result in a regular Joe getting thrown in jail...
Can we survive as a society of he continues to make a mockery of the rule of law? Isn't it important to show that the wealthy are not above the law? Every day he breathes free air is evidence that the justice system is broken beyond repair and it gives fuel to those who want a violent revolution to burn the system down.
I find it's easier to explain this to people as "Southern conservatives used to vote Democrat, now they vote Republican".
The fear mongering and misinformation in the campaign against this ballot initiative was ridiculous. Opponents tried to take advantage of ignorance about how marginal taxes work.
If you sell your house for $1,000,010.00, under this new law you pay an extra 40 cents on top of what you'd have normally paid.
Why not have a "no nipples" policy in general? I'm guessing that if parents think that their 7 year olds are going on Twitch to see boobs, they could lose some viewers.
But yes, policies should be applied equally.
Conservatives are trying to prevent kids from learning history and sex ed, and we're still hearing this bullshit lamentation about CURSIVE?
Schools are underfunded, teachers are underpaid and overworked, students are graduating barely able to read and with no critical thinking skills.
Who in their right mind is actually concerned about kids learning cursive?
Things I'd rather schools focus on:
Typing, Personal finance, Current events, Technology literacy, Graphic design, Human Computer Interaction
Or maybe practical skills related to trades or how to fix things: CAD, Cooking, Electrical, Plumbing
Literally ANYTHING but this cursive crap. It's useless, it's dead, move on.
Even with an expensive convection oven I can't get things to come out as good as they do with an air fryer. The small area through which the warm air circulates is probably the reason. The fan in my air fryer is the same size as the fan in a household oven with convection options, but a much smaller volume of air.
Most people don't actually have convection ovens. Whoever wrote that post probably doesn't even understand that there's a difference between a convection oven and a traditional oven in the first place.
The things that consistently come out better for me in my air fryer (with less cook time) over the traditional oven are:
Home fries Bacon Salmon Chicken thighs Any vegetable Leftover steak Leftover pizza
There are actually very few things I care to use my traditional oven for, it's all just quicker and comes out better in the air fryer. Pretty much anything where you want it to be browned/crispy without overcooking the inside or using a ton of butter will be better in the air fryer.
Ah yes, Christians and their political beliefs based on the teachings of Christ such as... checks article preventing men from playing in women's sports and making it illegal for "illegals" to vote. Which (of course) it already is.
Where does this obsession with "illegals" voting even come from? Have these people ever registered to vote or voted? You have to provide information and be on the voter rolls, it's not like you can just walk in and vote.
