GOG doesn't do regional pricing and only supports a handful of currencies. So Steam is much more consumer friendly for any of us living in countries with "weak" currencies.

GOG doesn't do regional pricing and only supports a handful of currencies. So Steam is much more consumer friendly for any of us living in countries with "weak" currencies.
It's also much bigger than it was back in the day.
Even a fraction of a percent of people using decentralized services is probably bigger than the early web ever was.
