Heh, no worries, the thread is for both readers and listeners.

And yeah, I basically turned to Koontz because I thought King was too long-winded. Though, I have recently read King and enjoyed it.

Has anyone read any of these books? What do you guys think?

Yeah, "middle" can often be a slog in series. You have to keep everything exciting without resolving anything.

I think I should start Mistborn re-read next. Want to re-read before starting Mistbort Era Two (Wax & Wayne novels).

Riyria Revelations is on my wish list. Let's see when I get to them.

I was recently in the mood for some crime books, but now getting in the mood for more lovecraftian stuff, though haven't looked up anything in that genre yet.

Interesting. I have added it to my list of books to get this month. Will give it a read as soon as I get it.

Interesting. I would try to get my hands on a copy.

Yeah, that doesn't seem to be something that I would enjoy.

Malazan is on my wishlist, but I usually don't have much time to read these, and these big series have started to look daunting now. Going to read it someday though.

The name Ringworld seems familiar, but I don't think I have ever read it. How are you liking the series?

Boowyrm is pretty nice, I took a look around a while back, but haven't moved to it as my main tracker. Currently using LibraryThing for my cataloging needs. It's a centralized site, but it's a pretty good one.

Wow, just took a quick peek at the that, and it's really detailed. Bookmarked the page and downloaded a copy. Will check it after reading each book.

The name made me think of Wile E. Coyote.

BTW I looked it up, and the author's name is Dennis E. Taylor, Dennis E. Miller is a VP Fraud Analytics of some big firm.

How is his Bobiverse series?
