I'm in the middle of diagnosis. I do have Bipolar and have been medicated for 4 years or so. My shrink and I suspect that ADHD is there. It seems to be a common comorbidity. I was self-medicating with alcohol, until I got to a very bad place.

Both bipolar and ADHD have a frightening percentage of substance abuse, often as a form of self medication.

I went to the shrink around the time when I got sober. Quitting drinking and meds literally saved my life.

BTW, I got sober thanks to SMART Recovery. SMART is science based and behavior oriented, so even if you don't have an addiction problem (substances and/or behaviors), You can learn a lot of stuff applicable to behavioral problems. Much of the program is based on Cognitive Behavioral therapies, no higher power required. Confidential. Free.

I have owned two FIATs and a Lancia (FIAT Group) Delta. The Lancia was the funnest car I've ever owned. It chomped my Golf GTI any day. Road handling was a dream, equipment was amazing, things like stock Recaro seats, etc. That said, I will never own a FIAT again. FIAT is Stellantis: FIAT, Peugeot, Chrysler, Citroen... Amazing impulse buys. Sweet cars new, but they age horrendously.

They are designed to fail in the short term. Amazing innovations, power oriented engines, but just too flimsy.

The Multipla is a great concept executed the FIAT way.

I believe Honda had a 6 seater subcompact. The CHR or CRV? I can't remember. I'd pick the Honda any day.

The MKII had much better styling, BTW

I've rebuilt two FIAT engines. An engineer's wet dream. A 1,20L that output nearly a 100 HP? yes, but a shitload of compromises. the fucking head was the top engine support!!! Fuck FIAT.

I must admit that the 900 was simpler than a scooter's engine. You could probably work on it with a Leatherman and some duct tape, but I have owned motorcycles with 3X the power output. I've driven some Cinquecentos. Opening the hood/bonnet has given me PTSD.

I hate the guy, It scares me shitless that he may be elected, but we must admit that creating the "weave" thing to sell his mental decline as a brilliant oratorial strategy is a genius marketing move. The problem is that he is selling exploding Ford Pintos as the safest car in the world.

If I recall correctly, the manual override for the electric inner door handle is hidden under some panel. Major lawsuit material if you ask me, and irresponsible by the certifying authorities,

Also, Boeing is being outcompeted by a company that pays its workers well, and that is considered a good employer, and that makes planes in countries with high taxes and universal care.

There is an official way to override this. In mine it’s pressing 7 times some button. I can’t

Remember what it’s called, but it’s in the manual. The mode essentially lets you print until the cartridge is empty

Adhesives are used in many aerospace applications to bond panels and structural elements. Some Lotus racing and street cars chassis are bonded aluminum! Lotus are racing chassis specialists, making chassis for other racing teams.

The space shuttle's bottom tile heat shield, which withstood insane temperatures and stresses, were glued.

Adhesive science is pretty cool. You may want to read up a bit.

Take a look here. I've used their adhesives and 3M, also an impressive range, in a signmaking business I used to own. Not a single sign has failed in decades, weathering rain, snow, wind, very hot summers. We are talking pretty big surfaces, under pretty big loads and stresses.

I'll gladly pay a premium for something that will be "buy it for life" or at least last decades. Phones and computers have inherent obsolescence, but most tools don't. I don't buy chinesium tools, I buy reputed European, American, or Japanese tools, the lifetime stuff.

As a Spaniard I concur

The 5 is already somewhat enshittified. The Non Standard USB power that makes you buy a propietary PS is one example (which I found out after buying one for my son).
