If nothing else it will be more interested to see where the money goes. What if anything grows from this monetary stimulus will tell China a lot about which financial channels are functioning and the current structure of economic activities. Finance in China has been reigned in quite a lot in the last decade and im sure the CPC feels it has room to throw some carrots like this to domestic and foreign investors and markets. This is a volatile transitionary period in China's economy with all the deleveraging and restructuring going on so i imagine they want some easy numberinos to go up and show, even if its fake financial stuff, and the financial class to shut up a for a bit

Maybe this is in the context of their much deeper relationship with China in latter year(s). If China leads in most tech categories in research by a large margin all while tech transfers and university and research cooperation (and investment) between Russia and China has increased notably lately then Russia may get simillar or greater benifits in R&D while spending less

Apparently Miyazaki took it to heart and reworked the manga story to pass the historical materialism Takahata check (Movie was made while the manga was less than midway through)

Its embarassing really. Was Vietnam's historical experience with China (pre 20th century cause the sino-vietnamese conflict being worse or more traumatic than western colonialism and the US war isnt something that i can entertain) really so much uniquely worse than any other neighbouring nation's?To the poiny that justifies having comparable numbers to uber US cucks with colonial nostalgia and a dozen US bases like the Phillipines? I really find that hard to believe . At some point there must be pro-western and lob brainworms in public opinion that play important role

China doesnt decide what EU countries to get bold with, they are responding to interest and oppeness to investing and collaboration from EU countries. They wont reject much. If Germany, Portugal or idk Italy were as or more willing then China would have the same engagment as them. Same with the ME that they work with a lot vs less so. Hungary being the less anti-China EU country or better put the EU country that tries to take a more balanced stance in the emerging multipolar world only reflects bad on the rest of the EU

welp if the rojava compradors will have their "land" and manpower used by the US and their bases to facilitate and safeguard a genocide nearby without pushing back on the slightest they are part of the "real" axis of evil and every iranian drone or paramilitary attack on sdf territory is deserved

most of these articles going around are a bit old (3-5 years) so ,while there hasnt been some big turnaround, the increase in youth support and younger lower level leadership has made the party move away from such messaging which to begin with was mostly the result of boomer voting base and boomer leadership and not any real material analysis. You can still classify the party positions as class reductionist and wishy washy on whether they would support same sex adoption if it came to vote again but there has been some reapproachment of the issue. For example the party secretary was a guest in the prominent greek LGBT radio show recently and the rhetoric has shifted. Still not great but for a party that has only survived to the strength and orthodoxy that it has through ossifying their position and beliefs and refusing to be swayed by left and right social and political currents change will be slow and comes with the changing of generations. Also greece has the east european deeply religious orthodox church brainworms that have stunned social progressivism in past social experiments to. They probably arent worse on lgbt issue than most second or third world communist parties at this point but since they are big players in domestic policies their positions became more openly contested and layed on the table.

https://www.902.gr/eidisi/politiki/326464/kathe-anthropos-me-opoia-taytotita-fyloy-na-ehei-oles-tis-proypotheseis this is a recent interview on lgbt issues by the party ,pretty understandable by google translation, that shows that while not good the positions have bettered and evolved compared to years past and of course inculde the standard positives that an Communist party should provide (free and accessible trans healthcare even at young ages including hormone therapy and sex change for example).

No lmao. Have they even make an press release condemning Israel or supporting Palestine? On the contrary the US will operate out of their bases in adf territory to attack Syria, Iran and Lebanon if they escelate to any more direct involvement. They have done so in the past again and again. They have even collaborated militarily and intelligence wise with Israel in its anti-syrian and anti-iran actions

As far as western socdems go Melanchon is prob a bit to the left of Corbyn who is considerably to the left of Bernie . Especialy on the Israel issue i bet the former 2 are certainly hiding their power level . Strong pro-palestinian and anti-colonial positions arent unusual for oldschool european demsocs/socdems and early eurocommunists

Like i comment elsewhere a very large part of Chinese income inequality is the huge rural-urban divide. All countries have it but its an order of magnitude worse in China so there are basicaly 2 different countries within China . Having 300 million people in the biggest cities earning western levels of income and 300 million people in rural small towns and villages earning a fraction of that skews the metric a lot EVEN tho life in rural ereas is also much cheaper and without taking into account that this is a symptom of the rapid urbanization and mpsernization that will probably uplift the latter group like it did the former
