The Boys is a show based off of a comic that satirized mainstream superhero comics, it has frequent shock/gross-out humor with bombastic, graphic violence. The first few minutes of the first episode of season 1 will give you a general idea of what the show is about. It's essentially superheroes but with capitalism coupled with contemporary political satire.

Project Ako is a legendary anime about a super-powered girl, her longtime friend, and a rich, mechanically-inclined, jealous rival. It is a very good anime but, unfortunately at times, still an anime. We will be watching with the audio and subtitles from the developer commentary with the cast.
