If Assad was truly on that plane, then maybe it's time Russian proxy leaders and client statesmen learn to NOT to board a Russian plan the moment you've royally pissed off your Kremlin handlers.

Iran is apparently requesting opposition groups for safe passage out of Syria. If Iran is giving up on their land bridge to Hezbollah it's JOEVER. Homs has fallen, Heseke and Qamishlo were handed to SDF, and Damascus is basically hours or days from fighting for the presidential palace

HTS have a Pantsir AA system by the way, on top of other modern IGLA variants abandoned by the SAA. Just seen a video of them downing a Damascus govt helo.

They'll probably get some T-72s and T-90s in the coming days because the SAA rolled them up To Hama and then tried to do a blitzkrieg without any fucking fuel and left most of their tanks in pristine condition on the side of the highway.

Inb4 Turkey deploys a captured Oreshnik MRBM against Kobanê by January

EDIT: Emergency talks in Baghdad tomorrow morning to discuss a potential joint military intervention between Iran, Iraq, and Syria.

The F-16s were always a gimmick. They're easily outmatched by modern Russian aircraft (in the numbers Ukraine was given) and take ages to train on since Ukrainian pilots are used to Soviet aircraft.

Even without hypothetical air-to-air combat (which is a distant memory in this war) even the S-200 system is capable of taking down an F-16 so the more modern systems are more than a threat.

Their usefulness was mainly as a carrier for the "deep strike" missiles (Storm shadow) in order to give them decent range, but that was quickly shuttled after Russian Kinzhals started meticulously hunting down any F-16s they could find on the ground.

EDIT: Wikipedia claims 9 are combat ready

This post is devoid of dialectics.

This isn't a one-way "Anarchists learn to hate state communists" relationship, but state communists also learn to hate Anarchists. Their rivalry and history fuels the distrust in one-another.

History has more than enough examples of Anarchists being fucked up by state communists, and conversely many examples of Anarchists rebelling against state communists. In turn, both are distrusting and crack down on support for the other.

If you truly want to engage with anarchists in a constructive fashion, and appreciate the political history of anarchism properly, you have to drop this idea that one side "started it" or one side is "taught" to hate the other. It's clear from this post that you're already arguing from the perspective that one side is irrationally attacking the other, despite doing that yourself.

There is value and important knowledge from most if not all socialist ideologies, and if anything the synthesis of movements is exactly how history is moved forward and how we impose a new order of resistance against the capitalist class.

Understandable if true, but it also seems concerning that Israel was supposedly just throwing bombs in whatever devices could fit them after the pagers were infiltrated. Physical access will always trump any security practice. Israel could easily infiltrate a batch in transit if they had the need to.

That being said, the 2nd best time to dump all of your secure Comms would be just as the enemy gives away that your Comms might be Laden with explosives

Genuinely surprised when I see people running mail servers without issue. I suppose getting in relatively early means you're not immediately sent to junk mail lists by the big players.
