I, on the other hand, will not be satisfied until there's more remakes of FF4 than mainline entries
I'm sticking with the shoto, his tatsu looks sick
I decided the next game I want to make that is within my capabilities (hopefully) is a shump so I've been playing a bunch of shumps to get inspired for my own project. Of all the games I tried out so far (and there's been a lot), I found Mushihimesama, Radiant Silvergun, and Zeroranger the most interesting ones to invest more time in.
I caught Stardew fever and I made a new meadowlands farm to check out the content from a fresh run. It's been a few years since the last time I played, just long enough where I can tolerate another playthrough.
Before that I was on a mission to play all the SaGa games this year (except maybe Unlimited) which I'll continue to do, probably just switch off what days I play which. I am on Romancing SaGa 2 (remaster), which might be the hardest SaGa game I've ever played. After gaining an understanding of the game systems I'm having fun but it'd been nice if they added a few tutorials in the remaster.
My current empress is a pretty nereid named Pherusa and I'm gonna be sad when it's time to jump to the next generation and pick a new one.
I wish the pixels were less janky though. Thanks for the lazy mobile port Square Enix.
cw: cancer
It's been a miserable month. My partner probably has cancer. We're waiting for the doc visit to confirm but the lab results don't look good. Nothing else going on in my life really matters.
Power Wash Simulator. Relaxing and no-stakes game that keeps my ADHD hands busy while enabling me to pay more attention to whatever I'm watching or listening to on the side.
I'm almost at the end of Super Mario RPG remake which means I'll probably never play it again and thus continue my trend of not finishing RPGs. I think the last RPG I finished was... maybe Mass Effect 2?
This was tough. Like FF6, 10, or Tactics could take 12:ZA's place and for Castlevania, I had trouble between choosing this, Portrait of Ruin or Order of Ecclessia.
Here's hoping you also gain the power to drain the life from fascists with a single touch
