I’m not knowledgeable in this area, but I wish there was a way to partition the model and stream the partitions over the input, allowing for some kind of serially processing of models that do exceed memory. Like if I could allocate 32gb of ram, and process a 500gb model but at (500/32) a 15x slower rate.

Can’t, he’s too busy with Tasker profiles.

That’s news to me, unless you’re only referring to the smaller models. Any chance you can run a model that exceeds your ram capacity yet?

Sadly, we’ll most likely see an influx of regulation right when it’s broadly accessible to the general public to run locally.

Why do you think they’re even interested? Is it practice on political influence by force, before doing something in house? Is it to prevent the spread of something like socialist democracy? If only to beat the drum of local news, why Venezuela specifically and why was the impact on Venezuela planned out so specifically?

I think there’s evidence that they were business partners in the trafficking operation. Trump owned children beauty pageants, he had girl servants at one of his resorts, reports of some of those girls winding up with Epstein… I bet there are financial transactions proving it.

It was once an upon a time reasonable to boycott. Now look, as your options dwindle to fascist supporter A, B, or C. That, or a single alternative who can’t actually meet your consumption needs. This is a problem that has gotten worse with time and will continue to get worse so long as nothing is done. Imagine a world where all your options for water are Nestle and similar. We can argue on the specifics, but that’s the general consumer dystopia we’re clearly headed towards. Our way of life has been compromised.

Remember also when Trump dissolved the U.S. National Security Council (NSC) Directorate for Global Health Security and Biodefense, right before COVID-19?

I’d take it a step further—there is no evolutionary chain. A chain implies linear direction. I’d argue it’s more like a rhizome, evolving in a rather random direction at every moment. Intelligence as we know it is just (1) a single arbitrary attribute and (2) a single arbitrary form of intelligence. Something with more capacity toward intelligence might not even share the same kind of intelligence as us, which could mean their logic would be incomprehensible.
