A lawsuit filed Monday by Baton Rouge grandmother Ternell Brown provides chilling details about one such search. In filings at Baton Rouge’s federal courthouse, Brown recounts how she was out driving on 10 June when two officers, Lawrence Jr and Matthew Wallace, noticed prescription medications in her car during a traffic stop.

Brown asserts that she had offered to show the cops that she had a valid prescription, but they didn’t want to hear it. They took her to the Brave Cave, ordered her to fully undress, and made her spread her vagina to officers who were men, the lawsuit alleges.

That's the new normal our kids will be trapped in if we don't.

Not gonna lie, it's way past too late to really be able to spare human life from the effects of climate change. A revolution likely won't even be enough at this point.

Nah, it's fair. The health care dilemma is why I actually asked in the first place.

I don't understand why it is people don't revolt over it. The government is literally killing people and society itself just expects you to die and no one actually thinks about or appreciates the gravity of the situation.

Man, the mods here really need to start doing something about the rampant rape apologia on the sub. Why even have mods if they won't ban shit like this?

Welp, guess it's time to uninstall Unity

NASA wants to shit-can it because of money issues. They want to turn it into a heliosphere probe, which NASA doesn't need; it just gives them an excuse to mothball it.

A shit ton of planetary scientists have been complaining and word got out, upsetting us space nerds everywhere. NASA doesn't want to send another probe out to the Kuiper Belt for another 20-30 years, as in we millennials will be old or dead by the time we get new Pluto pics if they get their way.

Not necessarily. A bunch of us could band together and fund a bunch of folks who are good at building shit and just commission them to design and build new tractors that are easily repairable -- preferably electric too -- and then sell them. And this effort could be incorporated as a non-profit, which itself legally can own businesses and those businesses could sell them at a profit, and kill off John Deere's shitty-ass company and any other shitbirds that want to take away consumers' rights to own their own products.

How the fuck could a law like that possibly be enforceable? Mozilla should just tell them to go fuck themselves, offer alternative IPs so people can get around country-wide DNS blocks, and then go about their day. Who cares what some spineless country wants?

The ads make Youtube unwatchable so if necessary I'll figure out how to sideload Piped onto the house TV, or, failing that, just plug my laptop in and watch shit through Piped.

Well, that's naive and misinformed. And also irrelevant; endangered species are too important to the environment for poor people to justify killing them off to buy food. Poor people have agency and therefore responsibility for their actions too. Your stance is both anti-environment and anti-working class.

We can and should help the poor in ways that don't involve absolving them of responsibility for driving endangered species extinct.

Because they are part of a cult that has infiltrated government for decades to turn it into a christofascist state and they're at their endgame.
