I'm imagining countries who won't lift a finger to help Gaza or pressure Israel to stop their genocide will suddenly go all in and even strain their own economies on a coordinated effort to help Israel.
If that happens then everything is a joke and every fucking society deserves to burn and be replaced with something else.
I haven't been checking the news megathread all that much nowadays because I just don't want to mentally torture myself anymore. That and also I don't know if it's mentally healthy to try to keep up with the day-to-day goings of the world and witnessing "oh more horrors are happening today. Again. lovely." Significant developments don't come about for long periods of time anyway.
The last thing I've kept up with was Isisrael spreading into Syria, like the cancer that it is, and bombing a bunch of weapons.
But there have been some things that's got me scratching my head a little. Maybe I just don't geography or whatever but why are they bothering to bomb and destroy weapons that were likely not going to be used against them to begin with? HTS are absolutely not beating the "Israeli puppet" allegations. Wouldn't those weapons pretty much belong to them now? It's not like they're going to attack Israel. Hell, they're not going to resist Israel in any capacity if they start looking to take over the whole country. If anything HTS seem like they would record videos of themselves getting killed by IOF ground troops just to make them look good. Jolani would probably run outside, get on his knees and spread his arms out to welcome and embrace a Zionazi bomb being dropped on him, he'd consider it an honor to be killed by the Zionists.
If you wanted to go further with this, you could probably say those weapons belong to Israel through HTS by proxy already, so why bomb them? Wouldn't it make more sense to waltz in and just seize it all for themselves? Not like HTS will do anything about it, other than roll out the red carpet for them.
Then there's Israel stating that they got the ceasefire deal with Lebanon so they can focus on Gaza... while also at the same time talking about countering the Iranian threat. And the next thing you know, their puppets overthrow Assad, and now they're advancing into Syria and dropping bombs on weapons... which is NOT focusing on Gaza. Can they make up their mind? They could have just abided by the ceasefire if they didn't want to deal with Hezbollah during their genocide, but now they seem like they want to gear up for another confrontation.
And then there's Israel rejecting any ceasefire deals with Hamas, despite the fact that Israel has proven it can violate ceasefire terms with absolutely no repercussions. They can just take it and break it immediately as soon as they get what they want, so what's stopping them from taking it? It's not like they'd be losing anything, right?
Considering the trajectory of things I'm expecting to hear about how this is another one of Israel's flawless, masterful master plans to completely destroy any and all resistance and the very idea of resistance itself, prove just how insurmountable and invincible they are, and to build their eternal empire that will outlast the death of the sun and the heat death of the universe and I don't know fucking hijack the lifestream or something.
Wouldn't be uncharacteristic for the IOF, considering they don't seem like they want to directly engage any Resistance fighters.
It really feels like the vast majority of Israel's kills have just been civilians.
Are big things happening? I'm getting shivers, but this time, kind of in a good way.

It's getting hard to keep your head up when it feels like it's just been a constant string of bad news. Cynical posts cascades the effect and creates a strong feeling of helplessness, like everything is going downhill, you've been tied up and your eyelids have been taped open to force you to watch. Is it creating the illusion that Israel is truly invincible, or is that the reality?
What does it feel like right now. That the good guys always have to make the right calls; they can never make mistakes if they want to win. But somehow they always do, they always make mistakes and I guess those mistakes always lead to their destruction. The bad guys on the other hand never make mistakes, or if they did, the good guys never capitalize on it. And even if the good guys take action and do something to hurt the bad guys... erm ackshually no it didn't harm them in any meaningful way at all really. Every time that's what it feels like.

Reading some of the comments lately has caused me to doom

God has Fascism ever truly lost? It feels like they always get the last laugh. People here call it unsustainable but it seems like it's able to sustain itself entirely through pure ideology. It doesn't need to be efficient or build anything, it just needs to control the world's resources with an iron grip and burrow its vile ideology into the minds of everyone, and it just becomes self-perpetuating. God why do so many people love fascism so much?
Fuckfuckfuck it's starting to look like Fascism never really loses, it just suffers setbacks. The Nazis failed to conquer the Soviet Union, but that doesn't matter because the west preserved Nazi ideology whereas the Soviet Union collapsed, it was ripped apart and its legacy is being torn to shreds. The Nazis got what they wanted in the end.
The Vietnam war? Vietnam has to live in a US-led world order and has to play by their rules. Same with every country that has had a successful revolution. Cuba's still being strangled by the U.S. DPRK is isolated while occupied Korea stands entirely on U.S. backing. The Black Panthers were broken.
Spain's first astronaut? Okay I don't know much about Spain but I presume things aren't good there, despite some fascist shitbag getting owned. Once again, only a setback, but not a defeat.
