Did we ask god 1.0 the meaning of life and expect the answers to be more accurate than '42?'

Gizmodo is doing something important here. Everyone is in dismay over how powerful AI is. But it's largely just a bullshit machine.

The Israeli remote machine gun assassination trick isn't being pulled off without lots and lots of humans working behind the scenes. Our focus should be on leveraging AI to resist the fascist machine wherever it is rising, which is everywhere. The environment is gonna have to wait^goddamnit^

And they believe in an afterlife defined by justice, so it's not a big deal if you have to die for the cause.

But we still could if France and Spain decide to help.

"They're replacing the internet with something else" is literal. It's harder and harder to find what you want because you're not allowed to have what you want anymore. You're allowed to work hard till you die and hope Big Tech shares its merciful bounty with you. You can't spell "social media" without "soma."

When you're trying out distros, I usually say to just go for it. Install the one that grabs your attention. Save everything to a NAS or cloud because the distro is going to break and you're going to want to try another one. However, Ubuntu is actually the wrong one to start with for this trajectory because it's the least likely to break.

Imagine the pressure of safeguarding the only true hope of freedom from capitalism. One cannot underestimate the importance of open source. His ego does get in the way because ultimately, everybody is replaceable. But very few could be as militantly focused on the importance of the mission. When you remove money, all the motivators are different. His ability to get results from bullying and public shaming should be studied for how its outcome is different than typical bullying. And he even went to therapy specifically to work on this. Fight another battle.

He didn't kick Epstein out of there to protect the girls...

This is not a problem. Science includes peer review for sanity checks. Her paper might be a case study; it's not necessarily a null hypothesis rejection.

"The fact is that the President kicked him out of his club for being a creep."

Well duh. You kick the creep out of pedo club for drawing attention. A lion that can't hide doesn't get the kill; they have to Mary Mo the bones later.

Trump dumped Epstein because you always drop the teammate holding you back when the prize is a feast.
