The only thing I hate more than AGILE or any other workplace words, is the rock headed coworkers who try to defend it.
It is very very funny to me that the AAA gaming industry has basically made their own projects completely untenable to produce because they need so many engineers and artists producing the highest fidelity content and engines possible and so now they need like at minimum 500 people over a 4-6 year period to produce a game that typically has the exact same gameplay as something produced 15 years ago. And they're like "wow we need to raise the price of games to compensate for all this added cost we added to the production of our games". And the solution is right there, quit wasting time with chasing constantly new art assets and better engines, and just reuse the shit you already have. Fromsoft and RGG (Yakuza devs) ship more games with more interesting things than all the western AAA publishers produce in ten years. And they need like 8 months of patches to make them actually run anyways.
Oh and let's not forget most consumers probably can't even tell the difference between 1080 and 420, let alone 4k versus 1080. I know all my normie family over the age of 50 can't. So they're pursuing ever higher graphical fidelity for literally no reason.
The industry is a joke. Indie games are all I need.
Is this bait?
Do you know where you are?
Why not boil in a plastic bottle so you get the best of both worlds!
I don't think todd has a clue how bad starfield is and that speaks poorly of them being able to identify why their games currently suck.
Maybe the inherent nature of an elder scrolls title offsets the worst parts of starfield; need to be able to walk everywhere, fast travel as convenient rather than necessary part of the design. Combat will certainly continue to suck though, as they have only really spent the last ten years making shooters with melee combat only getting worse and worse.
But maybe they'll just focus on making a cool rpg with lots of fun exploring and I'll be wrong. That's be nice.
Sounds like this constitution is a piece of shit that maybe should have been tossed a century ago when it was no longer relevant to the world we lived in.
Yeah but now he has merchandise... So everything he does is just a promotion to sell more of the crap that makes him money. Like his shitty chocolate bars that sell for three times the price of a Nestle or Cadbury chocolate bar. Chocolate is like the ultimate sin food. It's bad for you if you eat it, and the production of it was likely bad for everyone involved, and the money goes to ghouls who just want more money.
Don't you see they have statistics on their side though!
I'm so tired of hearing "real wage growth has rebounded faster than ever before!"
Really? In what fucking jobs that working class people are working? You telling me grocery store workers are getting paid more? Or delivery drivers? Looking into the data I'm sure the growth is entirely driven by the top 40% of earners who don't love in anything close to the precarity that average working class folks do.
The only reason there is any gains at all is because unions are striking and just vaguely point at rent increases and grocery food prices and even company negotiators are forced to grant giant raises because public perception would annihilate them otherwise.
Claiming Biden caused any of this is ludicrous. He made the rich get richer and we have to fight tooth and nail for every cent we claw back from them. Fuck Biden he deserves to lose, and it's a shame Trump is the alternative, because the path forward is bad or worse.
This is where my brain went to also. It would also give us all drug glands so we can get high whenever we want.
At this point if you find a place in retail or food that isn't running on a skeleton crew to barely run the place then it's probably an accident of scheduling. Because about 15 years ago all the business managers decided that quality experiences in stores is expensive and what are customers gonna do? Shop elsewhere? No, you do the bare minimum, keep the employees miserable and try to force them to quit with terrible work environments so you never need to give them a raise because they all quit within a year. The suckers who stick around get promoted to supervisor and given a pittance of like 40k a year to abuse the shit out others so they will continue to quit within the first year. It's the cycle of retail hell.
The most positive I've heard is that it is a by the numbers Bethesda rpg game. It doesn't try to be anything more. If you liked fallout 4 and skyrim odds are you'll like this.
I mean he made a Netflix show about government and had Obama on and didn't yell at him at all so I saw this coming a mile away.
