You spelled Fin Tech Bros wrong
I guess newer models are still good
Nope. The WF1000-XM4 have battery drain issues, and there is at least one explosion recorded...
Edit: To everyone saying they have XM4 or XM5 and see no issues, congratulations you are one of the lucky few. Just google "XM4 battery drain" and you will learn the Sony had to issue so many refunds they introduced new processes...
PS Boycott Sony until they address the issues. It's not okay for major producer to release a product with such a major flow and then look the other way.
- Noise cancelling headphones and earbuds. By far the best quality of life improvement I have ever gotten from a single product.
- Whet stones for sharpening knives. It's a fun process and my knives are in perfect condition.
- Mobile phones.
I would say fuck to-do lists but I need them to remind me to hate on them... btw you may want to look into PDA.
I wasn't able to find a definitive answer, but after skimming Wikipedia I think a reasonable range would be at least 3 but probably less than 17.

Anecdotal evidence from the 1960s has suggested that crows can count up to 3. It has been shown that parrots can count up to 17.
This question reminded me of the Dr Stone anime. The premise is that a wave turns everyone into marble, several thousands years later a young scientist is unfrozen and uses science to restore society to its former state.
Also, I wonder what the effects of long term exposure to EMP would be to life on earth. Since most neurological systems use electromagnetic waves maybe they are impacted?
Another interesting question would be if there would be a way to work around the EMP. For example, would a Faraday cage work to allow electronics to work inside it? Or maybe electronics are improved to work under the effect of EMP? Like how the CPUs have bit correction algorithms because of random bit flips that occur due to solar flares.
Last but not least, in such a situation my plan would be to go as far away as possible, since there will be food shortages, being in an area where you can forage for food or hunt animals would be a priority. Then, I would probably die eating something poisonous. If I survive long enough to set up a farm, I would probably survive the next 10 years or so until I die of old age at 35 the new average life expectancy.

A plugin system that allows for custom scoring methods is a good idea, IMO.
This would allow instance admins to install whatever plugins fit their users' needs. See how many instances are deploying multiple clients like default Lemmy, old Lemmy, alexandrite, and many more.
Arbitrary code execution is not safe, so it would probably require an admin permission to install plugins.
Some ideas for interesting scoring/sorting methods or feed generation in general:
- personalized AI scoring, most of us agree it's bad when a big corp controls AI, but maybe it's better if the user could fine tune it
- instance/community/other AI scoring, instead of super individualized scoring sometimes you may value the feedback of others including the communities you follow or your instance
- the explore feed that was recently suggested (or any another mixer), i.e. a mix of home, local and all based on factors the user can configure
- random
- Top/Hot/Active/New but only counting interactions from people you "trust" (i.e. you follow the same communities, or have at least X% compatibility) (again big corps bad, self hosting good)
Some of these services are not cheap to host, but the fediverse allows for multiple solutions to coexist. Some servers will charge for premium features, some servers will not provide them, some people will self host over engineered solutions, and big corps will show/sell ads and track user data (never forget big corps bad).
Highly disagree, if an instance is controlling the experience of a user, then that's a problem.
Each user should be making their own choice regarding using the all or local feed. That choice can be a net positive for the fediverse.
One could argue that even if the user makes the choice it's still a prisoner's dilemma. However, keep in mind that a user's interest does not (necessarily) match their instances, one could change instances or use multiple accounts across different instances.
Instructions unclear, my penis is stuck now
I am trying to get started on a treatment at the moment. This made me anxious.
IMO such a quiz would be impossible for anyone but professionals. I have been following local and international news, but the amount of things happening on a daily basis is simply too much.
Also, constructing such a quiz would be impossible, picking questions would introduce political bias.
For example, Berney followers are likely to miss Trump quotes, even though arguably they are among the most politically educated groups in America.
To answer yoyr question, I believe I would score within the top 10% for most quizzes. But, there are a lot of quizzes I wouldn't get a single question right.
