Always download your Windows ISOs from MS directly: https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-download/windows10ISO?msockid=1f1e1899fbc26e530dcb0cebfa3f6f8b

The moment you get them from somewhere else, no, it cannot be deemed 100% safe.

They dropped PPC for Intel. Within two years, Jobs was on stage lamenting the partnership as Intel frequently missed deadlines or just simply couldn’t deliver. It took them a while, but we all saw it coming and I’m sure Apple couldn’t have been happier dropping such a shitty company that did nothing but hold onto its monopoly. The blackberry of processors.

They then partnered with AT&T as their exclusive carrier and again, within just a year or so, top VPs would take shots at them during their keynotes. Within a few years, the arrangement was changed.

Qualcomm has been a thorn in their side for over a decade. They have sued them. Publicly called them out on their exhortation pricing.

There’s no way, given Apple’s dedication to perfection, will they just suck it up and stay with them. Their pricing structure alone is enough reason to build their own modems.

Behaviour patterns.

Surveillance is less about knowing specifics about one person, but broad trends on large groups. How communities respond.

This is why prices are 2.99 not 3 in many parts of the world.

Why we frame it “free delivery or 10% off for pick up” instead of “10% more for delivery.”

Why all commercials are louder than the content they play from.

Why you’re more likely to pay extra for the same item if it’s packaged nicely.

These are the data points of value to capitalism. And this is why mass surveillance is so dangerous. Because it arms those willing to exploit us with vast amounts of information, most of it unobtainable without the invasion of privacy. It’s these data that makes things like V for Vendetta possible (given the right timing).

Espionage (foreign and domestic) are the byproducts of the Information Age.

Most third world countries have rivers of plastic and all manner of garbage flowing right through densely populated places. India’s rivers are foaming from sewage they are so bad.

And because the education level is so low, the citizens just frolic in it thinking it’s safe, or worse.

Plenty of snark and contrarianism on Threads don’t know what dafuq they are talking about, sounds like nonesense.

That’s exactly what these places do. Met Cap is a huge one. They were “renting” units for 50% more than most others in my neighborhood.

The “renovations” are laminate floors, new paint, and new cabinet doors. Nothing remotely worth what they are asking.

I’m still floored that this country monetizes homes.

So basically like every antivirus.

He’s done that in all his businesses. Arguably that’s what makes him a messiah to his ilk. They think he’s a profit. When sane people realize he’s just a blow hard lying about things or is just completely out to lunch.

Which is pretty standard with these types. Akin to Homes.

Bro this is the fucking world! It’s just smoke and mirrors. Like the commercials. Everyone at McDonald’s smiling and happy and loving their job. Then look at reality.

That’s every job, every field. It’s just held together by duct tape and bubble gum.

The better solution is to not program your machine to act like a clown behind the wheel, doing all manner of illegal offences because ThAt’s HoW ReGulAr PeoPlE DrIve!

We aren’t trying to make auto pilot act like a real bonafide driver, we are just removing the inconvenience of needing to do the driving.
