Man, this makes me wish I could get EWW to compile on Debian. No idea what the hangup was, but I just remember being unable to get it to run.
Yes, it should lack a lot of dependencies on Debian :(
For eww you need few packages https://elkowar.github.io/eww/eww.html#prerequisites
And of course rust, cargo, etc...
Yeah I ended up giving up. I might try it again if I ever switch back to Fedora, but that's probably not going to happen for a while.
