I worked at an ice cream place, and me and another coworker would offer to upgrade people's orders for free* if they let us guess if they were married, had kids, how many, etc. I have no idea why we wanted to play this game, but people were always on board, we got some laughs out of it, people got more ice cream, it was a win/win.
Not my money, don't care. The owners would later fire me when I threatened to report them for withholding paychecks after a freezer mishap. I got my $23.
