I have seen it's true face. Social media is an extended gutter and the gutter is full of ads and when the drains finally scab over all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their pop-ups and clickbait will foam up about their waists and and all the reply guys and soy boys will look up and shout "save us!"... and I'll look down and whisper... "No."

Is that Watchmen?

I recognize that last line, but can't remember where it's from.
