All these manufacturers collect tons of data. There is no reason range estimates can't be better.

Seems like this is important enough that a trusted 3rd party tester should probably become the go to source for these numbers. If Tesla had any balls they would simply be transparent with their data. I'm sure they know what each customer is getting on their average charge to distance ratio. Massive data set should produce a pretty solid real world average.
