If that's actually a thing, I need it!
I used to do it with Beryl and Compiz close to 20 years ago, so I assume there's a modern version available.
I used compiz fusion. Sadly it appears to not be available anymore.
compiz and emerald are still in the debian repos.
I use arch btw
