Note: the Medium article seems to consist of the actual text copied twice in a row
Theis post was triggered by the R9PRESENTATIONALism non-sense, in which some TESCREAL-defender unironically used religious tolerance as an argument against the "secularized religion" accusation.
This made me yearn for a broader, more comprehensive atheism, that would swat these chumps that somehow evaded the wrath of previous atheisms.
This made my brain synthesize the term "eco-atheism" which is shockingly unused.
After filtering out search engine hits that were really about Umberto Eco, I had 2 (two) hits left.
First the Scientific Pantheists who seem like decent folk, but not what I'm after.
Second the work of Anja Katina Claus, Senior editor of the Center for Humans and Nature, which seems to be part philosophical publication and part farm/retreat outside Chicago.
The main link is a short and sweet Medium article from 2019, that summarizes her stance that atheism should be severed from humanism.
She goes into far more detail about how she formulates her ethics, partially motivated by people assuming she was "spiritual" despite her atheism.
So i guess I'm platforming Anja Claus today, she seems cool.
Also I might hang on to the "eco-atheism" label for future use.
