Trump to CIA: I need you to stage a false flag terror attack

CIA: Sure thing boss which country

Trump: no within America

[-] modifier@lemmy.ca 62 points 4 days ago

I've been waiting for the ideal time to unmask myself, and now seems as good a time as any.

It is I. I am the president and CEO of Antifa, and I rule with an iron fist.

I'll take your questions now.

[-] Thassodar@lemm.ee 21 points 4 days ago

If you're antipho, what's your soup of choice?

[-] modifier@lemmy.ca 16 points 4 days ago

That's a joke for radio. NEXT!

[-] designatedhacker@lemm.ee 13 points 4 days ago

If they're antipho we can safely assume their opinions on soup aren't worth a damn.

[-] sleet01@lemmy.ca 6 points 3 days ago

Gazpacho, like revenge, is best served cold.

[-] bibliotectress@lemmy.world 11 points 4 days ago

Hi! Yes, I have a question.

Grocery prices have been hitting hard lately, and I'm looking into alternative meat sources. I would like to know if I were to join your company, could we literally eat the rich? Or, second best, take all their stuff?

[-] modifier@lemmy.ca 8 points 4 days ago

God knows what wierd chemicals they are marinating in, and most of them are busy amassing private armies and creating microstates while working to erode the checks that currently limit their ability to essentially act as actual sovereign citizen, so it wouldn't exactly be very calorically rewarding compared to the effort, but...

NEXT!

[-] Avatar_of_Self@lemmy.world 11 points 4 days ago

I've heard rumors of unionizing at antifa. What is your strategy for dealing with that?

[-] modifier@lemmy.ca 9 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

Obvious conservative plant question. Collective action itself is the iron fist with which I rule, thus a Union would be redundant.

NEXT!

What's your company culture like? What are the perks of working for antifa?

[-] modifier@lemmy.ca 11 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

Same answer to both questions: fash bashin'

NEXT!

So no 401k or dental than? No thanks.

[-] SturgiesYrFase@lemmy.ml 12 points 4 days ago

Not OP, but I'll field this part. Where we're going 401Ks and dental won't be needed.

[-] reagansrottencorpse@lemmy.ml 4 points 4 days ago

Are you hiring ?

[-] ohellidk@sh.itjust.works 78 points 5 days ago

As soon as they announced that "antifa is a terrorist organization" I then knew exactly what they were up to. So the narrative was "fascism is good, and your a threat if you try to stop it".

[-] bazus1@lemmy.world 55 points 5 days ago

[security contractors joined by officers hailing from across the federal government] converged for a mission dubbed “Operation Diligent Valor,” authorized under Executive Order 13933, purportedly to apprehend “anarchists and left-wing extremists” who’d been driven by Floyd’s murder to target U.S. monuments commemorating slave owners and Confederate traitors — dangerous individuals, Trump said, advancing a “fringe ideology” painting the U.S. government as “fundamentally unjust.”

Irony is dead.

[-] PriorityMotif@lemmy.world 19 points 5 days ago

My p-doc is from Vietnam and went on an unsolicited rant on how you should never trust the government. Trump is literally the inverse of sanity.

[-] Bonesince1997@lemmy.world 5 points 5 days ago

And yet he takes many many people with him. Trump, not your doc.

At this point, the people who like him aren’t looking for sanity. They’re looking for their daily Two Minutes Hate.

[-] Jarix@lemmy.world 2 points 4 days ago

...that actually makes a disturbing amount of sense. a very disturbing amount of sense.

I'm gonna go smoke a joint

[-] lectricleopard@lemmy.world 11 points 5 days ago

That's just double speak at this point. We've always been at war with easteasia.

[-] delirious_owl@discuss.online 40 points 4 days ago

Every article that says the word "anarchist" should go out of their way to say that its not illegal to be a capitalist, a communist, or an anarchist. Its a legitimate political ideology thats been around for centuries.

[-] davel@lemmy.ml 24 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

Corporate media are never going to consider socialism legitimate any more than Homeland Security will, because it goes against capitalist class’ interests.

[-] Hackerman_uwu@lemmy.world 0 points 4 days ago

Actually of all the “others” or “out groups” that exist, anarchists are the ones I cannot fucking take.

Irony begin that I’m more aligned to their politics that I am to any of the others, I’ve just never met one that I like. Meta irony being that that is probably the most anarchic position to hold on other anarchists but I wouldn’t out money on that.

[-] delirious_owl@discuss.online 6 points 4 days ago

That's strange. I've never met an anarchist that I didn't like. They're usually the kindest and most selfless people.

Maybe try going to a mutual aid action, like Food Not Bombs?

[-] Jon_Servo@lemmy.world 24 points 4 days ago

Couldn't even pull off a Reichstag fire.

[-] SturgiesYrFase@lemmy.ml 6 points 4 days ago

I mean, if they were going to try and burn down the Capitol Building, clearly the right people to have blamed would be us Canadians. We do have a bit of history doing just that. 😏

I hope you're being sarcastic...

If you really think this started with Trump and stopped with Trump, that's what they want.

This is simply a continuation of Cointelpro and we saw the same tactics used against college campus protests under Biden.

[-] AbidanYre@lemmy.world 0 points 4 days ago

Of course it's someone from ml that can't take a joke without getting upset that I didn't call Biden a genocidal fascist.

[-] antmzo220@lemmy.ml 2 points 4 days ago

Of course it's someone from ml that can't take a joke

Of course it's someone from world who posts perfect "poes law" bait and then cries about ml users. I literally started with

I hope you're being sarcastic...

The followed with

If you really think

So here's a tip for the future.

if 1 of 2 conjunction ˈif əf

1 a : in the event that b : allowing that c : on the assumption that d : on condition that

that I didn't call Biden a genocidal fascist.

Cointelpro and government crackdown on any opposition to the right wing liberal order goes well beyond Biden, it just continued under him. You're showing your absolutely unserious and reactionary team sport mentality.

[-] Monument@lemmy.sdf.org 2 points 4 days ago

Their comment specified “For Trump”

That implies that they are doing the same thing, but for Biden. Obviously.
How do you not get that?

You won’t see what I chose not to say here. I don’t often have random vitriol for internet strangers, but goddamn.

[-] antmzo220@lemmy.ml -1 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

Their comment specified “For Trump”

That implies that they are doing the same thing, but for Biden. Obviously.

No it doesn't. They could be implying it was a Trump specific policy.

"they did this specifically for Trump, they probably don't do it anymore"

Vs

"They probably don't specifically do it for Trump anymore"

Without knowing them or making assumptions I can't fill in which interpretation they went with, hence why I said "I hope you're being sarcastic", implying I hope they were more in line with the 2nd interpretation.

You won’t see what I chose not to say here. I don’t often have random vitriol for internet strangers, but goddamn.

If this is what broke you down, I really don't believe that lol.

[-] Monument@lemmy.sdf.org 1 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

Okay.

I gotta admit. I don’t care.

And shit - do you see what they’re doing to the campus protestors? They are all fucking bad and we live in a police state.

But you’re throwing stones because someone didn’t contort their comment to equivocate Trump to Biden, who wasn’t a topic of conversation?

[-] antmzo220@lemmy.ml 0 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

How do you go from

You won’t see what I chose not to say here. I don’t often have random vitriol for internet strangers, but goddamn.

To

I gotta admit. I don’t care.

Obviously you do. Way too much. lol

And shit - do you see what they’re doing to the campus protestors? They are all fucking bad and we live in a police state.

Yes, hence why I made sure it was known that this is a policy that started before Trump and continues after him.

But you’re throwing stones because someone didn’t contort their comment to equivocate Trump to Biden, who wasn’t a topic of conversation?

Who did I throw stones at and when did I ever say ask them to "contort their comment to equivocate Trump to Biden"?

Am I not allowed to even mention Bidens name without triggering the *MkUltra Lib Sleeper Cell?

Tell me, specifically, which part you had such a problem with?

I hope you're being sarcastic..

(recognition that they may be joking)

If you really think this started with Trump and stopped with Trump, that's what they want.

(If they believe it to be Trump specific, they are wrong, but that's not entirely their fault because the point of these sorts of admissions in the article is to place blame on an individual and avoid examination of the system as a whole)

This is simply a continuation of Cointelpro and we saw the same tactics used against college campus protests under Biden.

(As you said, we live in a police state. I state a past example [Cointelpro]then follow it with a modern example [Campus Protests], as I said above, is the mere mention of Bidens name too much for y'all to bear?)

Edit:*MkUltra

Edit2: literally from the first comment you replied to of mine. (Which was in response to them being upset about my first reply, stated above)

Cointelpro and government crackdown on any opposition to the right wing liberal order goes well beyond Biden, it just continued under him. You're showing your absolutely unserious and reactionary team sport mentality.

[-] AtomicHotSauce@lemmy.world 15 points 5 days ago

Definitely not surprised anymore.

[-] IMongoose@lemmy.world 4 points 4 days ago

Wait, so is Mexican Joker not real? I was sure that was real. It sounded so real!

Possibly a few real ones, too!
