couldn't figure out how to actually embed the video posting from my phone, but figured at least an image would get the message across

[-] Sidhean@piefed.social 4 points 1 month ago

It's the perfect frame (I have no idea what it's supposed to be)!

[-] chuckleslord@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

The answer is gifs!

[-] Semi_Hemi_Demigod@lemmy.world 44 points 1 month ago

At least it’s got a flared base

[-] SpaceNoodle@lemmy.world 64 points 1 month ago

Not nearly flared enough

[-] Tar_alcaran@sh.itjust.works 30 points 1 month ago

If you can fit the part in, you can fit the base in. This just makes it worse.

[-] Gladaed@feddit.org 14 points 1 month ago

Way insufficient

[-] ceenote@lemmy.world 31 points 1 month ago

Which Threshold can you reach?

[-] Stamets@lemmy.world 43 points 1 month ago

The one where Paris and Janeway turn into space lizards

I don't remember any of Wayne's world wavy lines in the episode.

[-] Endymion_Mallorn@kbin.melroy.org 1 points 1 month ago

No, it was in a later episode where they said they'd never traveled at or about Warp 10.

But it is.

What the fuck are you people on about? You don't get to say what is and isn't canon

Edit: After some googling, it appears both of you have completely bought into an urban myth. No. Threshold was not decanonized at any point. No, the writing staff did not try to disown the episode. The writing staff don't get a single say on what is and isn't canon. The cast also don't get any say on what is and isn't Canon considering everyone on TNG wants Code of Honor gone and that is still canon. So...

Yes. Threshold is Canon.

What the writing team ACTUALLY said about Threshold.

[-] WhiskyTangoFoxtrot@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

The only canon episode of Star Trek is Far Beyond the Stars.

[-] Stamets@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Yes it is? Weird ass thing to claim with literally no reason

Finally a way to be a hoe hoe hoe hoe

[-] RidderSport@feddit.org 14 points 1 month ago

What is that even supposed to be? I mean apart from the obvious butt plug

[-] OrganicMustard@lemmy.world 16 points 1 month ago

A Christmas decoration for your butt

[-] Technofrood@feddit.uk 10 points 1 month ago

Christmas tree

[-] yoriaiko@lemmy.blahaj.zone 7 points 1 month ago

Not-A-Butt-Plug obviously.

[-] Valmond@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

A magic travel to the hospital if you're brave enough?

[-] bitchkat@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

A facial massager.

Department stores used to sell vibrators as facial massagers often with ads in the paper of women holding one up to their cheek.

[-] Big_Boss_77@lemmynsfw.com 11 points 1 month ago

If not butt plug....why buttplug shaped?

[-] WagnasT@lemmy.world 10 points 1 month ago

Before seeing these ornaments I hadn't considered that a doorknob can be shaped...ergonomically. I wonder if there are unreasonably strong springy door stoppers.

[-] burntbacon@discuss.tchncs.de 6 points 1 month ago

I'm not saying I tried it as a teenager, but I'm also not saying I didn't. Eroticas should be more careful in how they describe some of their more 'fun' beginner forays into bdsm, eh? ;)

[-] Wahots@pawb.social 1 points 1 month ago

Wait, are people actually shoving a doorknob in their asses? Even the rounded ones would be quite the progression. Not to mention the screws on the other side.... :P

Just get dildos, it's so much safer.

[-] 8000gnat@reddthat.com 7 points 1 month ago

imagine saying the phrase "screams preemptively in ER nurse" to a medieval peasant

[-] jballs@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 month ago

They probably wouldn't get it until they shoved that Christmas tree up their ass.

[-] SidewaysHighways@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

goddamnets stamets

[-] SalamenceFury@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

Eh, not that impressive. Dildos marketed for furries are so much worse than this.

[-] Wahots@pawb.social 1 points 1 month ago

More ergonomic, too!

[-] HulkSmashBurgers@reddthat.com 1 points 1 month ago

I'm so confused…are those actual butt plugs or weird ass mock christmas tree decorations? Both?…depending on your mood?

lmfao.
