First gold for the Philippines at the Asian Games! 🥇🇵🇭 Thank you, EJ Obiena.
I'm not knocking this accomplishment because EJ is the man. But wow, it took this long for us to get gold in these games?
Nabili na Letterboxd. But at least it's by a small Canadian company and not some conglomerate.
Maybe that holding company is run by a bunch of film buffs. They're tiny. Haha
Yeah, maybe to protect it from someone big that's just going to run it off the ground like what happened with Television Without Pity when Bravo bought it. Hindi man lang inarchive yung content.
Speaking of archiving, I hope that The Internet Archive lasts forever.
In some ways, as much as I hate Google, YouTube is at least one form of archiving that's going to last.
I've teamed up with other archivists trying to procure lost media and uploading it while sources like VHS, beta, el cheapo CDs/DVDs are still functional. Just today I was able to come across a commercial (while rummaging through old recordings) I forgot existed and it suddenly brought back memories. 😆
Anytime, pwede maging walled garden si YouTube. Make sure na may secondary place o storage ka, or much better make it available on torrent
