Hearing a billionaire saying he dislikes unions is the best case a union can make to get the point across.
That's called logic and I'm not sure it's applicable to modern society anymore. I really wish it was but too many people are just allowing their world view to be skewed by news bytes like this. They read it, accept it as fact and march on.
Nothing reminds me how important unions are more than the rich telling me how bad they are.
He dislikes it because he
[doesn't] like anything that creates a lords and peasants kind of thing.
Apart from him being the bourgiest of the bourgeoise: Doesn't he literally call himself "space Emperor" or something?
What a quote. Unions are literally the thing that stops a lords and peasants kind of thing.
He hates when people shine a light on the fact that they're not having as much fun as he is with that idea.
I disagree with the idea of billionaires. So there.
Elon has lost his grip on reality - he's now fully delusional and just making shit up as he goes.
He is incredibly dangerous to society.
Something tells me Elon has never and will never want or have a 2 way relationship.
Work Reform
A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.
