Criticizing Israel is not antisemitic.
Assuming all Jews support the government of a genocidal apartheid ethnostate, on the other hand, very much is.
This. When I criticize the Israel government and Palestine government, and mention that I am in support of civilians of Palestine and Israel, I get called anti-semitic. Apparently, hating the government of Israel means you must hate Jews despite you are in support of the civilians side of Israel.
Oh, America's been laying this groundwork for 30 years. "How to let Zionists Manifest their Destiny, just like we did, and NOT get accused of apartheid!" Difference is, I refuse to bothsides it, considering the brutal, inhuman colonization of my people is a still-living memory for us; and still continues to this day. Occupied Palestine is being settled by a malevolent, murderous movement that claims Judaism as its aegis the same way the Nazis claimed socialism while being straight up fascist.
Genuinely, I despise this existence.
Students take a contradictory side to their government.
